Dear buddies,
The kid of my friend is still young (just 1 1/2 yr old). She's thinking if there are any chance to send her kid to UK for better education couple years later.
Her idea is to apply a working visa in the UK and then she can bring along the kid for UK. She is an experienced Financial Planner. I think it won't be too difficult to get into some banking/financial industry there.
What happens if she work there? Is there any chance her kid can apply also public school (free education) if she gets a working visa? Of course, there will be no headache if she send the kid into independent school. So, "working visa = free education for dependent " is the key point.
How long does it take for the kid to be a residence there? So, the kid is eligible for free edcuation by itself and doesn't need to be a dependent for the free (if any) education?
The mom will go with the kid as they've already got a house there. So, boarding school is not necessary. What the kid required is just day school there.
Kindly advise!!
