我女兒現在已經是”自動自覺”練琴，每天練一小時．

女兒學琴三年，記得頭兩年要求她練琴（初時只是練30min），真的好痛苦．又要催，又要氹，有時重要”鬧”．有一次”鬧”到要送埋個琴比人，以後唔好學．免得大家為了練琴而爭吵，女兒唔捨得送走個琴，所以只好接受現實，每天自動練琴．

今年四月，女兒已考獲四級．她很開心．亦多謝我每天催她練琴．

其實，學習綱琴是要經歷很長的時間，要小朋友由始至終都很”自動自覺”練琴是沒有可能．是要經歷：初時喜歡，跟住討厭＆抗拒，現在已 enjoy.

我覺得訂下目標很重要．初時女兒學琴，唔夠一個月，我就買了一個新琴返屋企．因為樓下琴行租琴，很唔方便．在買琴之前，我問女兒是否很喜歡學琴，如果真的喜歡，我才買．但要她答應一定要考到八級．唔可以中途放棄．她答應了．咁我哋就向着呢個目標進發．途中一定要經歷艱辛．

學琴就好似讀書一樣，我們都要催促子女讀書，他們都覺得好辛苦，但當他們考到好成績時，就會高高興興哋走來同你講，多謝你的催促．

我女兒現在 11 歲，她 8 歲學琴，學了兩年半就直接考 grade 4．(她沒有考 grade 1,2 & 3）．

女兒咁遲才學琴，是之前沒有環境，因為租屋住，地方小，唔可能放琴．到有自己屋企才給女兒學琴．我知道有很多小朋友四歲就開始學 (我朋友女兒和小女同年， 6 歲開始學琴，今年已考 grade 6.)

女兒雖然是遲，但唔重要，認為學琴會訓練腦筋（因為是雙手彈琴,聽講會訓練埋右腦），另一個目的是希望音樂能陪伴她一生（我覺得她長大後，會遇到唔開心的事，希望她可以彈琴來幫自己減壓）∼∼哈哈！我係好變態，會唸好多野．

四葉草,
你好有心得呀. I asked u the question because i want to know my's condition. My son is 5 years old, he have learned the piano for 8 months. But I think his progress is very slow, his teacher teachs him jaround two songs pr week /45mins. He play piano everyday and 15 mins per day. I request the teacher to teach him more but he refuse. He said that he is too young and don't want him too much pressure. I want to know how long he can sit on an exam.

你個仔重細，只得五歲，唔好比壓加他．免得他會抗拒．

我個仔現在四歲，我都有問他，想唔想彈琴，但佢話唔想，咁我就沒有逼他．我心目中是等他六歲之後才學．

我個女學左一年, 佢每日大約都係練20分鐘, 因為佢家陣讀2年級, 放學返黎, 做下功課, 好多時佢太"支力", 都唔係好願彈, 我都唔係太迫佢, 我始終覺得學校d功課緊要d.
佢每堂大約學2-3首歌.

My situation is similar to you. My daughter is 7 and she just past her G3 exam. She will practise by herself everyday. Yet, I still request her to play once again at night so that I know how well she play. At first, I will write a note to her everyday of what she need to practise and how many times. Now she get use to the habit and will play herself.
In my opinion, successful in piano is never easy. Not much children can learn well without full support from parents including push and scold. The turning point of my daughter is after she get awards in competition.
The start is always diffcult but it's worth.

請問最初學琴，你地的小朋友的手指有冇好生硬？我個女彈doremifaso,的手指好似好辛苦咁，佢就五歲。應該遲的學定而家學？

我囡囡6.5歲，學左約一個月，手仔已經比第一、二次練琴時熟練左，慢慢給她們時間la.

Jackie,

5 yrs old is big enough to start.  If you start too late (say P1), the homework from school will be too much and you will tend to skip in the end.

The figures of kid are soft instead of hard.  She is just too nervours in the beginning.  Don't worry and be patient.  She will overcome it very soon and you will start saying that her fingers are too soft to stand good.

Thanks very much. I live on HK side. I've enrolled her in Tom Lee before, but the teacher talks too fast and she was too young. Then I enrolled her in a Wanchai one to one class, the teacher just asks her to draw too much. Any recommendation on good teacher that can play with children while teaching?

我的兒子快五歲, 一年多前給他第一次學琴, 但當時約一個月, 鋼琴老師就說他不是太有興趣, 讓他年幾再大點再學吧!
事隔一年後, 我再按排他第二次學琴, 今次他非常認真, 每日都能自動自覺練習半小時到40分鐘, 進步也很明顯, 其實, 我和爸爸都沒有給他任何壓力, 可能年幾大點, 真係有分別.

my girls's paiano teacher is excellent. She is very patient. My girl starts paino in Aug. She progress very good. I dont like Tom Lee. Teacher there is too commercial.
