It is so difficult to get into DBSPD, why do you want to change to ESF now?  And which ESF?  Please share why you have such an idea.

ESF Kowloon Junior School, which is also very difficult to get in (not the ESF private independent schools like RCHK and DC).

Depends on what do you expect to the school. KJS is  a good IS and your son can learn better English there definitely,while DBS has Chinese lessons every day.Teaching style are totally different between IS and DBS. Moreover, did you ask your boy regarding changing school? How old is he?

不擔心 ESF 很早熟和容易學壞嗎？
DBSPD 又有什麼短處令你會考慮轉去 ESF？

- Whether a kid will 早熟/ 容易學壞 really depends on how the parents raise the kid!

I also hope that Miclint can share his/her experience with DBSPD, such as the teaching style and whether the students enjoy school life.  I tend to prefer international school for my son because I heard about the tests and pressure and competitiveness among the students at good local schools, but this is just hearsay and I don't know it is true or not.
