Years before, my elder son went into another room with 7 kids. All parents stayed in the waiting area.
After half an hour, the Deputy Principal came out and asked a couple to go out with him. Then another Deputy Principal came to announce the positive results to all of us.
For my younger son (for another ESF school), a group of around 8 kids went for the assessment meeting. Result was sent to us a few weeks later.
For both cases, kids from the same kinder were grouped to have interview together.
