以我所知，SPCCPS雖然以中文教學，但千萬別小看他們的英文程度，我朋友的孩子在上P2之後，發現他們所學的英文，一點也不淺易，故不用擔心！

dear all

my son is on the waiting list in SPCC
we are quite nervous since me and my son love this school very much
do you know if any of your child's schoolmate got admitted in the waiting list?
besides, do you know how many kids will put in the waiting list?
is it 50 or less?
and, do you know if there are any ways to increase the chance to get admitted in the waiting list

Hi, my daughter is going to P1 this Sept, just want to know

(1) will they use PTH to teach Chinese?
(2) How many subjects will the kids learn in school?

hi Hohonmama,
My girl was admitted last year on waiting list. I received the call from school of the admission in early July. I don't know how many were put in waiting list. I sent two letters to the principal in between. One letter right after the waiting list result and one around May/June to send with updated kindergarten reports and comments.
I don't know if the two letters helped or actually the list was in order from Dec's announcement. I can understand your feeling and I think its no harm to update the principle if you have further positive report about the kid (and keep it short). But after all, it depends on how many kid will give up the seats. We all know the number is small.

(1) Chinese is taught in Cantonese but the principal said it will be taught gradually in Putonghua in higher form. (Actually I expect more now)

(2) There are 10 subjects in P1.

I understand that quite a few SPK girls got in this year.
But no, although the 2 schools are both called St Paul's, they have no connection at all.
They even belong to different church - SPK is catholic while Co-ed is 聖公會!
