Hi Jeremy Mum,

Good to hear that Jeremy is nearly recovered.  So far, we received only 2 notice from school about the infection from chicken pox.  Ivan said that the first time is Ryan and the second time is Jeremy.  Thanks God that there is no other students being infected.

I'm quite surprised to learn that you both infected from SC as I don't know that Ryan is infected from other classmates.  Can you tell me how Ryan got the pox.  I'm quite worry on further infection as my daughter is only 1 year old and she had no immuization so far.

BTY, Ivan told me Jeremy would be the one saying something in English in 開心跳舞迎夏日.  That's a good experience and I look forward to the kid's performance.  Would you join the programme on 25.6.2009??

Hi Ivan Ma,

I just heard from a common friend of Ryan's mum and mine that Ryan got chicken pox from school, but I haven't asked if he got it from our class or schoolbus or whatever. If Ivan said that only 2 boys got it, it's very lucky.

Re. the performance on 25 June, I should be able to go. But Jeremy, having been grounded at home for so many days, said he's forgotten how to sing and dance, let alone having to address the audience on that day. He's never told me about that. Would other parents confirm this please?

The doctor said chicken pox virus may be hidden for as long as 14 days. Jeremy started to have sth like a pimple on his chin the day when Ryan resumed school (on a Monday). As I was not at home then (in hospital for a minor surgery), no one at home can confirm me if it is chicken pox. When I got home on that Tue pm, I thought it looked like chicken pox and so Jeremy started his sick leave right away. I still don't know if Jeremy had already got the virus from Ryan before Ryan took his sick leave or on the day when he resumed school. Anyway, Jeremy just got slight fever on the first day. The spots he had were not too many, but neither too few. Luckily, as he's got vaccination, he didn't feel very painful or itchy and that's why he didn't scratch them.

The school told you it's very common. But I did not encoutner a single case in elder sister's K1-K3 class during her 3 years' study there, except some cases in Norfolk campus!

hi every body!

i have been very crazy for houseworks this month as my maid quit suddenly. even though i have hire a partime local maid, but doesn't help much. i have to send Ana to tuition everyday and sometime play with her. i only do housework after she went to bed, that's why i can only have 5 to 6 hrs sleep everynight.

i told story on 9 jun,it's really a good experience and i found that all the children including Ana in the class are so active and initiative. they raise their hand all the time. and Ana was so excited that day as she looked forward to it for long time.

for performance, as i know, Rudy will do the speech for 開心跳舞迎夏日, Ana and Jonathan will do the English introduction for both dancing and singing section. Hope she will not be shy to say in front of so many audience.

Ivan mum, i have checked the website of 假日農場you mentioned, it only accept group visit, i think i am not able to go with only my family.
i have also join the volunteer on 23 jun rehearsal, look forward to see u that day.

Ryan mum,
I want to confirm how you discover Ryan's chicken pox if Ryan had no fever.  Is the chicken pox dry or wet as I had no knowledge on that and I'm afraid that I would let Ivan go to school by mistake if I overlook that he was infected.

Jeremy mum,
Hope your daughter would get well soon.

Anna mum,
Though the website say that only welcomed group visit.  Actually, you may call them on the day you want to visit and see if they have vacancies.  If they say yes, you can go on individual basis and all my colleagues go there on individual basis.

Dear all,
the school is suspended till 25.6.2009.  Do you think that the performance would be postponed or cancelled?

ms. lee just called and told me that the performance is cancelled, it is too bad. she explained that not postpone becos it is hard to book a hall, i think it is just excuse.

i am so disapointed so as Ana as u know we don have much oppuntunity to see their live at school, i dare not to tell Ana, maybe she will cry if she know as she always tells me that she really look forward to the performance. she really have practised very hard for the speech and it waste now.

do u think if we can sign a letter to school to request for postpone of the performance?

I received Miss LEE's call in the morning. I am so disappointed to hear that the performance is cancelled. Though the kids still performance their dance in other class, I wish to see their performance and I think its a good memory in their K.1

what a pity! the summer holiday started. we even don't know what class will they be in K2. They haven't said goodbye to other classmates and the class teachers.

originally i planned to let Ana to drawing and swimming class this summer holiday, but now is still considering due to H1N1.

Ivan is taking 保母車and so he's not in the same group with Aaron.  Ivan tells me that Sophie is also in the same class.

How do you think the life in lower class?  Ivan is still adjusting as he don't want to have nap time everyday but he will be very tired then.
Sometime's he will have nap after a bicycle ride after school and will wake up after 8pm.  If he don't have nap, he will threw temper during dinner time.  As I will back home only after 7pm, it's very rush to me to have bath with my little daughter, doing homework for Ivan, have dinner....

Similar situation as Aaron. Sometimes he slept at 11pm and wake up at 7:30am but sometimes he fell asleep at 8pm. I have less time to play and study with him esp. that we were very busy in applying P.1 for his brother who is in K3 now.
