BTW, how old is your kid? I guess the "games" listed in your website are target for her age? In fact, in one of the books about the Montessori method, I read that the games can be classified broadly by age group. Any advice in this respect?? THANKS!

my daughter is 39mo, some of the activities listed she has probably outgrown, however, I am still keeping them around because those are more calming activities for her. Some others like those from language/geography/culture/maths materials are may be too advanced for her, but I just need to prepare everything in advance!
Yes, some of the reference sites I listed give you age suggestions, but you don't really have to follow strickly since every child is different, however, say for Maths material, it would probably be better to follow the sequence materials are presented to children so that they have a concrete idea of what's happening but the most important of all is your observation. So observe, observe & observe is the key...

My daughter started to have a Montessori environment when she was around 22 months. Start with practical life & sensorial stuff, you would probably need some low shelvings so that your baby could pick whatever he/she like anytime. For 1yo, you have to make sure things given to him/her would not choke them since they tend to put everything in their mouths. If you are serious about this, you might be interested in buying the book Montessori from the Start: The Child at Home from Birth to Age Three by Paula Polk Lillard, Lynn Lillard Jessen. I have got the book but haven't read it since my daughter was already close to 3 when the book was first published, however, I have heard praises from people from other Montessori groups so I guessed it would be quite a good book. Hope that helps!

其實你都放很多時間在你bb上, 應該點樣安排時間呢???
我有好多野都想比bb學呀,但係我好混亂, 唔知點安排好???

I have no idea if the book is avavilable in 大眾/商務 since I live in Australia. I order most of my American books from Amazon.com, however, I think American books are most likely be available from American bookshops in HK.
Do you work? I am not working so that's probably why I can spend a lot more time with my daughter. I don't really arrange how to use my time, but during the time there is no school for my daughter, I would probably be 'playing' with her or working alongside with her (i.e. I make her new material & she work on the materials I had prepared for her) but of course I may also be preparing lunch/dinner or doing house chores.
Your baby is only 1, you will be surprised by their learning power, so you don't have to worry too much, I think the most important of all for them to learn is self-caring (practical life), e.g. let her try to feed herself at meal time, she is practising spooning then. Also, do not make a big fuss that she spills food everywhere because that's the way she learn, you can show her how to clean up afterwards, again, she won't be cleaning up properly but the most important of all is that you have given her a chance to try & she has tried. Let her try whatever as far as possible (i.e. not dangerous) whenever she wanted to. Stimulate her senses, e.g. let her touch everything she can reach (you just have to take away anything dangerous out of her reach). Instead of not letting my daughter opening all our drawers etc, we have some drawers & cupboard especially for her & she can open them whenever she want to get her own things. Hope you understand the idea.
