I am not exaggerating. The Mandarin in Kingston is really stronger than in some local band 1 schools, at least in chinese vocabulary but English may not over ESF.

My daughter is also studying in Kingston. I agree that the language environment is really good at Kingston. Their spoken English and Mandarin is good. So i think you need to consider how much weight you wish to put on Mandarin....
I know parents from ESF and Kingston. Their planning are total different. For those kids finish kinder in Kingston will go to bilingual IS such as ICS, CIS, ..etc as the parents consider both Chinse and English are equally important. For those finish ESF kinder will go to ESF as the parents consider English is more improtant. Some of them take french or Spanish as the second lanaguage instead of chinese.
Therefore, the choice is depending on the "thinking" of the parent.
