My friend, who's daughter goes to Discovery College, indicated that although the fees was HK$67000 (for the year 2007-08), there was lots of hidden charges or extra activities and that we should add an extra HK$10000 to the final sum. Would parents agree with this.
As we have two sons this can put a strain on our finances. Has any parents in similiar situation consider putting siblings in different schools (i.e. one in IS and the other in Local)?
I just hope my salary goes up at the same rate as the RC school fee in the next few years and I do not have to consider this option. |
