We are very glad that our elder son is admitted to SPCC for 2008/09. However, we have a daughter who is born in December. I am wondering whether to let her repeat for one year. If yes, which year to repeat is the most appropriate ?

Could any parents who have similar experience to share with me ?

My daughter is born in October and studying P.1. Many of her colleagues are much older than her. One of them is even 1 year older than her! Luckily, she settles down after 1 month and catches up with other older boys and girls.
If you prepare to send your daughter to SPCCPS 1 year earlier, you must be very confident about your girl's ability. I must say, a lot of outsiders, including the teachers, will discourage you. Her classmaster called me in the first month and said she must pay extra effort in Maths. Nevertheless, I told the teacher that I'm confident in her ability as she can handle accelerated Maths programme, the teacher then believed that it was her careless mistakes. Time proves that she can handle the study without adding our pressure!
