Can anyone provide info of the followings:

1) how many % normally the school fee is increased every year?
2) are the students required to sit on their own seats when the class is being conducted or they're free to go whichever corner they like during lesson?

Hi little-duck,

1) I hope they will not forever. who know it better?
2) Of course they are. SSCPS is more traditional than many outsider expected, though they don't have very strict rules/punishment, especially after class and during recess.

You're right. The definition of a Happy School varies from person to person. From my perspective, a Happy School should allow kids to learn with joy, to express their own ideas freely, to expose them to many different learning opportunities.

To be a SUCCESSFUL and RESPONSIBLE Happy School, it has to maintain a high standard of discipline and a certain extent of demand on its pupils. Kids should learn by mistakes and understand consequences, so as to cultivate a generation with great sense of responsibility and ability to confront adversity, allowing them to strive for a successful life.

It's too easy to be a Happy School;
It's fairly easy to be a RESPONSIBLE Happy School; but
It's absolutely uneasy to be a SUCCESSFUL and RESPONSIBLE Happy School!
