Sorry for being late to reply your questions.
Just chat to my son, his comment as follow:
Primary level
Flyers vs Breakthrough: Breakthrough is marginally more difficult than Flyers; basic test format very similar, listening, oral, writing and comprehension.
Secondary level
KET vs level 1: KET is more difficult than level 1; format also very similar.
Movers & Flyers: Learning Plus;
Other advance level: My wife + native English speaker for oral practice
As he didn't take level two, so he can't compare it with PET.
My wife bought the kits and went through the content with him. Assigned exercise for him and reviewed with him after work. Our maid also assist to time his duration for each exercise.
