I think you can find the private occupational therapist for training because your child can benefit more from the earlier training. However, it is very expensive ($800 per hour) to pay the private OT fees which depends on your affordability. My son is also diagnosed to have deficit in concentration but not hyperactive. I search for the summer programme for 提升專注力班 in Shatin and it is held by the occupational therapists . I think the price is reasonable (about $1200 for 6 lessons i.e. 1 1/2 hours per lesson). There are other courses for the children with learning difficulty. However, I don't know this agency (Hong Kong Rehabilitation Academic Association) so I don't know the quality is ?good. |
