ICS or CAIS?

I'm considering to apply ICS & CAIS for my son. Could you please give me some opinions about these schools? Thanks!!!

I hate ICS very much.  The teacher doesn't take care of the student.  If a new student doesn't met their english standard within one or two months, the only method is to kick the kid out of the school.  All teachers are in rush, they don't want to stay longer at school. Don't expect this school too much and they look down the chinese language.

i heard that they will teach more PTH, how come they will look down the chinese language??

We must think in deep why we choose IS for our kids. Once we make this decision, we must respect the culture and language of the IS owned. This is not a problem in relation to so called "look down" or not. If some parents have such thinking, please send your kids to a local school. If they still want to send their kids to the IS, it is better to choose the IS using IB curriculum.

Is there any misunderstanding? My girl is studying in ICS and I strongly feel that the teachers are very devoted and caring.

Dear MAAA,

Are you a Christian so you consider only Christian schools for your kids?

I think both schools are very good. I think you need to consider:

1. Which one locates nearer to your home?

2. Which curriculum do you prefer? Canadian (CAIS) / American (ICS)?

My boy studies in CAIS, Grade 2. He loves going to school very much, and I think the principal and the teachers are really working as a team, they are very nice and caring!

Besides, I am very much impressed by the school's strong emphasis in children's spiritual and moral development, and good discipline and acedemic standard.
