Yes. My son is taking DMSA 3 times, 3 days on & 11 days off -> The typical DAN protocol -> high dosage and less frequent. For the coming 2nd round, I'll cut half the dosage and have the blood test to check liver function. The liver is my main worry. Since chelation is a long process, I need to think carefully.

How's your son PCA-Rx chelation? Any test report coming up?

Dear Dommom,

I was wondering why Dr. Trodd prescriped TF advanced plus to my son as the additional supplements included in the TF+ are too strong for a kid. He probably wanted to clear up his overstock. He charged me $600 per bottle for the "plus" type. I shifted my son to "classic" type after I learnt the side effects of the "plus".

I'm taking the plus and found it worked to help my irregular menstrual cycle dramatically.

Ivanmommy,

Nystatin is safer than Diflucan and it can be used as a long term treatment for yeast control.  I've never heard ALA will cause hyperactivity.  Most kids can tolerate it well without side effects.  You may try it again with a low dosage to reobserve the side effect.

What's your son's weight?  1250mg seems too much to me.

Chanchanboy,

I'll give my son both hair and urine tests by end of December.  Hope the PCA may help with the detoxification.

My son had got Nystatin for one year. Although the progress is slow, it is safe.

Dear all,
I visited Dr. Trodd yesterday and requested high dosage B-12 from him. His immediate reply was 'high dosage B-12 must be taken in his clinic for safety sake'. As it is inconvenient to take B-12 injection in his clinic twice a week, I therefore take the low dosage one. According to some B-12 articles, low dosage B-12 may not bring out significant effect. Although my son has shown improvement since taking B-12 for two months, I am not satisfied with the progress. To me, the quicker the progress, the better.

1250mg is ok for a ~17kg boy according to the recommended dosage of 75mg / kg.  But I forgot the concentration of the B12 that Dr Trodd is currently giving to our kids.  If you get the reply from him, please also share with us.

For OLE, I already got it from Green Concept.  My maid is trying it because she cough recently.  Still wait to see the effect.

don't be scared by my posting.  According to chanchanboy, the Diflucan in liquid form is still safe unless very high dosage is consumed.

Yes, I myself also start with the Advanced Plus since last week. So far so good but it's still too early to comment. Will share with you after finishing one bottle (probably 2 months).

With reference to Dr. Neubrander’s protocol (the innovator of B-12 injection), 25 mg/ml methyl-B12 can demonstrate the best improvement. My child is taking the low dosage one which is less than 25 mg/ml.

Dr. Trodd insists on giving me the mild take-home dosage as he mentions that 25mg/ml may be a bit dangerous to take at home.

You've fought a good deal with the saleslady. I even paid the original price without extra discount when I purchased it long time ago. Actually, there're a few points that I need to clarify here to other moms who ordered the water filter and did quote my a/c number as referral.

Firstly, I've no intention to take advantage from you guys. I remembered the rebate for the referral is $100 coupon only and can be used for future filter refill. I've received one coupon only in the past few years for purchasing one for my mom's house. Anyway, I'll return the exact coupon to all of you after I receive them no matter how much $coupon it is.

For my child's situation, 1ml 只有 25mg 的 b12, 打一支 0.25ml 的 B-12 只有6.25 mg/ml. This dosage is far from the standard level.

Dr. Trodd does not explain to me clearly. I guess it should be quite difficult for laymen to inject 25 mg at home due to longer time.

If Dr. Lam really prescribes the high dosage B-12, I will visit him next time.

No need to worry about this. We of course know you have no intention to take any advantage. I quote your account only because 唔好浪費, 益左間公司. Moreover, you always do so many research for us. BTW, according to the saleslady, the rebate for referral is 300 points (not $$) which is equal to HK$100 only.

Dear all,

Sorry about the wrong information I posted last night. The B-12 concentration I got from Dr. Trodd is 10mg/2ml,so 0.25ml which I gave to my son twice a week should be 1250mcg(1.25mg) which is in accordance to Dr. Neubrander's recommendation 75mcg/kg and my son's body weight is 17kg.

I have not heard of the high dose protocol by Dr. Trodd

DId any doctor recommend to anyone of you?
