Re: 女柭一問
Nice to meet you here, TLCheung.
I am very happy to see your postings to clear up some rumours, and I would like to share my view from another angle as a mom.
Same as your girl, my daugther loves going to school very much. As far as I've observed, most of the girls enjoy their school life. The school adopts the principle "work hard, play hard". The girls are free to play during recess without any restrictions. They are free to run, jump......
For the concern of "richness", I can say it is really a personal perception of parents themselves. I have not heard of any complaints, at least from my girl that the other girls are "showing off". The difference between poor and rich exists anywhere in the society and it is what the parent should do to educate your child on how to recognise the reality at one time and build up self-esteem at the other.
For the parents I know, they are all helpful, sincere. Even though there are some rich tai-tai, they are mostly polite and not high-profile. I know many girls from ordinary families and they never feel any pressure from their peers. My belief is that: this is a place for my child to receive education and not a place to compare our family background. It is very important that we cannot look down upon ourselves at the very beginning.
For the children of those celebrities, as far as I know, they do not have any privilege. If they are not doing well, they will also be punished or asked to see the teacher/headmistress, same as their classmates.
Hope the above info helps.
