Eye Q sounds better than other fish oil products on the market. Their selling points are convincing and its high ratio of EPA to DHA seems more suitable to our kids.

My son did gain some improvement on speech lately. However, he becomes more stubborn on certain things and likes to argue and negotiate all the time. Even though it's a good sign on autistic kid, but his speech performance can be described as " 語無倫次,講多錯多"

Thanks ! Actually I'm too lazy to read all the information on their UK website, I've asked the contact of HK distributor. They have now distribute the product in some of the drug store, but I've made an appointment with the salesman tomorrow to understand more about the product. And as advise by the salesman, it'll cost less if buy directly from them than from retail shop.

Will keep you update with the information !

The meeting with the sales is changed to Friday morning, as I have to completed a report tomorrow.  Anyway, will update your guys after the meeting.

Actually I discover this product by reading a small article in one the free newspaper, in the article it emphasis researh result indicate that EPA is helpful to children's brain development and it's helpful to ADHD and autistic children as well.  And When I talked to the sales over the phone this morning, he did mention that parents whom has children receiving services from Heep Hong has placed order for this product as well.

And I agreed that it's always benefit to consult some more professional, as all the company will present research result which is in favour of their product.

My son is taking Eye Q. My sister-in-law bought in UK and brought it back to us. It's like condensed milk (individually packed) but I know capsule is also available.

Dr. Trodd had asked me what kind of fish oil my son is eating. I forgot the brand name and only told him it called Eye Q and from UK. Then he just said "sounds OK". May be I bring along the box and asked him next visit.

Carson's birthday in January 2000.

Dear mrsphcheung,

My son initially had the NuSkin Omega 3 but no difference can be seen. Then we changed to EyeQ. During the early one or two months, there is some improvement in speech but then the improvement not so obvious as before.

May be cos' the first 12 weeks, my son took EyeQ twice a day, thereafter, only once each day (according to the instructions on the box so as to bring up the EFA level).

Also during the first few months of EyeQ, my son gained weight and I regarded this as a bonus ...

since my son is a thin boy.

Thanks for your sharing. Once my boy finishes all his fish oil (we have a large stock at home), I will switch to Eye Q. I heard a mom highly recommended this one for improving attention.

Dear all,

I sent an email to Dr. Trodd this morning seeking his advice on taking Eye Q instead of Cod Liver Oil. However, he replied promptly saying that "I AM NOT FAMILIAR WITH THIS PRODUCT".

I am a bit upset by his immediate answer, not even bother to take a look at the website (which I gave also). I understand that this product may not be one of his "familiar" items under DAN protocol, however, I believe a responsible doctor should take some initiative to check for their clients on their enquireis particularly on medicine.

Just a bit of sharing ......

Because my boss is on vacation tomorrow, so I have arrange the meeting with the salesman tomorrow morning.

how and to what extent it will improve the attention span?
Can it replace totally the DHA we are taking now?

If kids are allergy to certain fish, will it be the problem to take this supplement?

I have given 3,6,9 to my daughter so far, if this is suitable to Yu, I would like to try it as well.

Doesn't matter, I just pass the question to the salesman. As I read from the website, it mention EPA will be more benefit to children over the age of 2, hence their production with EPA:DHA 4:1 is better than other production with the proportion of 3:2. I think what they mean is the children need EPA more that DHA hence they rise the proportion of EPA and reduce the DHA in their product. I'll try to ask if they have any research result to support this. Most welcome, it you can think of any other question.

RE : EYE Q

I have a packet ( sample) from the eye q company, my girl try, she do not like it. Actually, it looks like soft pudding / condense milk, taste strange something like pipeapple, mango, lemon...etc

So I stick with the nordics and the DHA70.
