Dear Parents,

Applications for Primary 1 for the 2006-2007 School Year:

No. of vacancies : 105

Age range : Girls born between 1st September, 1999 and 31st December, 2000 are eligible to apply. Please do not apply if your girl is overaged or underaged.

Application :

Application forms are obtainable from the School (entrance on Gascoigne Road, Kowloon), free of charge, on 8th and 9th September, 2005 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Applicants must produce HK birth certificate / HK ID Card / Documents permitting her to stay in Hong Kong at the time of obtaining application forms (one form for each HK birth certificate / HK ID Card).

我認為應該是沒有問題的。但妳要實實在在的衡量一下值不值得這樣做？回想起女兒去年『投考』女小拔的情況，先不談背境等其他的關鍵問題，現在此只談年齡大小的問題。綜合各方面的表現，如果比起那些年齡較大的投考者，分別的確很大！就拿我女兒舉個例子，他是1999年12月份出生，現在升讀小一了。從『投考』當日至今已過約9個月了，學識上固之然有大躍進，然而她在各方面的行為表現也成熟了很多；會用腦袋根據情况應變說話及行事。相對來講現在她比9個月前聽話、明事理及冷靜得多。簡直是判若兩人呀！這也間接地顯示出來：若只憑表現，為甚麽那些學校會『偏愛』選擇『大女』的原因。『細女』及『大女』在先天上的實力就已有分別了，特別是在幼稚園的學習階段，大家在年齡上雖只相差了幾個月，但綜合各方面的表現是挺有分別的。女小拔雖然是我喜歡的小學，我也很希望女兒能入讀該校，但假如需要委屈女兒今年放棄入讀小一，我不會這樣做，這還有甚麽意思呢？！

Hi navigator,
Thank you for your sharing. It's because my daughter really gets mature. she told me that she doesn't want to be a P.1 student again. She will be unhappy when all her friends become a P.2 student while she will still stay in P.1.
However, my friend will attempt to do so cos her daughter was bornt in Dec 1999 and she lives near DGS.

How much is the school fee per annum?
When will the interview be conducted?

Any other Primary school that worth to apply e.g. Maryknoll, Marymount etc. Actully I live in Hong Kong side.

呢兩間係政府津貼，同女拔唔同，係計分入的 !


hk side 考埋 st paul convent / st 。paul co-ed，st clarie，救因。。。。

可以,我女都玩左兩年

DGJS p.1唔同出面p.1既,所以第二年考到既話,純粹學術性黎考慮,讀多次p.1都唔會悶親的,除非你讀緊maryknoll,st. mary之類既學校啫,但都係dgjs略略勝一籌

DGJS p.1唔同出面p.1既,所以第二年考到既話,純粹學術性黎考慮,讀多次p.1都唔會悶親的,除非你讀緊maryknoll,st. mary之類既學校啫,但都係dgjs略略勝一籌

Dear BK parents,

Do I need to hand in the profile when submitting the application form?  Or bring the profile to school during interview time?   I've heard that DGJS only prefers those kids who have won in all sorts of competitions esp sports, but at this age my daughter has not participated in any competition yet.......
