why suddently go back to HK? If Tsun Tsun continuous to have low grade fever, you better take him to see dr. again.

Our dim sum gathering was great, my son ate a lot, when we arrived home, he did not want to sleep and said, "Mama, I did not eat for long time, I'm very hungry, I will die."

My parents are here, so I don't have to cook, although I enjoy cooking very much.

Yeah...it was really fun yesterday! Your little boy always made me laugh, e.g. "Nemo" = chicken claws; "Nemo ball" = crab eggs; shark into the ball = fish ball. Did you record down all his interesting imagination? It must be funny to read it back when he grows up later!!!

I see..you used to go to gym to train yourself, thus why you are so tough la! My hubby always encourage me to play Gym, but I am too lazy to move, and most important is...I dislike sweating! Am I strange person?!

How is Tsun Tsun? Did he get recover yet? It is easy to get sick, as indoor is under air-con; and outdoor is extremely hot...so, please also take good care yourself too! But, why you wanna be back to HK?

Glad to hear from you again! I fully understand you, as HK has many good baby stuffs that we couldn't found in SHA! I don't like to spend much in here as not worth to buy imported items, and the quality of local stuff is not quaranteed. I also wanna go back HK for crazy shopping, I envy you ar Credit card...no problem la! Ask your hubby to pay for it lor

1. Buying a car is more expensive in SH than HK. License is at least $30k. You can consider to get the other province's licence, it is around $5k + $50/mth to SH government. The diff is u can't drive on the highway within the city.

2. Most of  the 3 rm apartments does not have the maid room.

3. It is difficulty to comment which area is the best, just like the different of CWB, Mid-Level and Discovery Bay. As you are leasing an apt and most of the lease is lasting for 1 yr, you may consider to move to another place once u r familiar with SH.

Hi All,

Luckily Tsun Tsun's fever has gone. He has running nose and coughing now.    I guess it should be the flu. I was worrying for many days due to no other symptoms except fever.

I would like to go back to HK cos' I don't think the local doctor would help me to find out the reason of fever. Secondly, I could separate Tsun Tsun and Oliver if we're in HK. In case Oliver is inflected. In addition, my husband is out for a biz trip, if Tsun Tsun had any high fever at night, it would be a big problem to me.

However, heard that it is the peak season of flu in HK now. My aunt tells me that her friend's son had the same symptoms, fever for few days first, running nose and coughing following. So, it may be better to stay in SH if Tsun Tsun is not serious.

I have the sore throat now...hope I will be alright or can't attend the next 'yum cha'...

Joanne, Sorry to hear that you are sick. Believe that you are facing the very critical moment, as on one hand, you worry abt Tsun Tsun's sickness; on other hand, you worry if Oliver will be affected. However, most important is that you'd better to take good care yourself first, otherwises, how you are able to take care of both kids?! Wish you & Tsun Tsun will get well soon, and looking forwards to seeing your presence to next Yum Cha.

Hi all, I always remember the time we had lunch in Monica's apartment and the pizza was so delicous. So, we ordered delivery service from Papa Johns Pizza last night. At the beginning, my husband didn't like to eat pizza...but when he had his first bite, he loved it so much! I also like that garlic butter sauce and two lovely chilie We are planning to order that again in next week...hahaha!!!
Misaki was born on 12th March, 05!

Hi,

I've sent Tsun Tsun to kindergarten today. He only has slightly coughing now. Oliver has little problem now - 痰. Hope they are alright and I am alright. I have sorted out that he got the flu from the kindergarten.

It is so funny that Monica and Sally think the fever is casued by the biscuit， 百力滋，crips, chocolate, candy, etc. In fact, I only give Tsun Tsun yoghurt, cheese, biscuit and juice as snacks. Chocolate is for my husband and me.  百力滋 are eaten when kids are around. I always pass the candy to ah-yi. No crips at all. I'm checking whether Oliver could have cheese now or not.

We'd visited a weekend school on Sat. It is running by Korean. It costs RMB100/hr incl shuttle and snacks. I find that only 2-3 kids per class and only 2-3 classes are running during weekend so far. I will let Tsun Tsun to join the Gabe class. Gabe is one of the Montesorri material which is teaching kids sharps, colour and dimensions. Althought the teachers tell me the material are imported from Germany, I am sure it's imported from Korea.

There is no English class so far. If we join, it will be 1-to-1 teaching if no other kids join.    However, there is no demo and they can't confirm what material they will use. They will hire a native English speaker to teach English.

Oliver has a fever this afternoon and got the 气管炎 again. I am exhausted to look after 2 kids. I am considering to go back to HK couple days later.

I think it is non-refundable. For the same model of car, it is a little bit cheaper to buy in SH. If u have a HK licencse, then u can also apply a China license in HK too. The cost is about HK$900.

I've started my new job, very busy in reading internal & external stuff and lots of meetings. My office is not far from Sogo (walk within 10 mins), so can still join you for dim sum.

Most Montessori material (wood) are made in China! there's a factory in China producing very high quality Monotessori material and export everywhere & sell to preschool in US etc.. I called them last month and planned to buy one set and teach my son at home, it costs over Rmb11,000 for tons of things. I'm only interested in the language part but they only sell at a set.

Don't get worry and exhausted! Did u take Oliver to see a doctor here? Does he get better after taking medicine? Maybe HK is good for you in these moment, as your relative is able to share your burden to take care of them as well! But, be aware of the weather forecast, as typhoon is coming soon to Shanghai. So...you have booked the ticket yet?

Today, I talked with my sister in phone. She told me that HK is extremely hot in 33 degree.  
Misaki was born on 12th March, 05!

Hi All,

I left SH in Tue afternoon. Both Tsun Tsun and Oliver were sick on Monday night and I felt helpness and upset indeed. Tsun Tsun felt cold (around 95F-96F) and Oliver had a fever (102-103F). I tuned on and off my air cond for the whole night. I also grabed Oliver to take bathing at 3am to reduce the heat.. All my relatives encouraged me to go back to HK, except my husband. He might not know how I felt.

Anyway, both kids are alright now. We went to see the doctor today. I also saw the doctor too.

I will back to SH when my husband goes back to SH. It may be the coming Sunday or early next week.

Drop u some lines when I have time.

Don't worry for your babies. They will be fine. It is quite common that one get sick after the other.Actually they will be stronger  and  have more antibodies after minor illness.  I know it is very difficult and tiring to take care of two kids especially when they are sick. Add oil     
please take good care of yourself.

I hope you'll enjoy your short trip in HK. Check again with dr. on what has happened with Tsun Tsun recently. I busy with the job and have many events have to attend - can't go home for dinner for tonight & tomorrow. BTW, girls in my office speak & write very good English. I guess I need to do something to improve my writing, especially I'm in publications dept.

It sounds good that the new job make u busy and your staffs are in good quality. The HK doctor's comments are almost the same as the SH doctor. The difference is the medicine. As we are having the 'Lilly Strawberry', we have to continuse to have it.

All three of us are staying in my auntie's place in Shatin. Tsun Tsun's performance is very good but not Oliver. Oliver is afraid of the new place and faces. I will try to take Tsun Tsun to Central, take the tram and ferry to TST if possible. Then, visit Space Mesume.

Oliver is crying. Talk to u later.
