一路睇個post，依家開始緊張
阿仔想讀醫，我想佢過去英國讀，阿仔傾向港大讀
英國醫科位又少，ps又要experience，個暑假又要去港大中大d courses，功課又忙，好擔心。

純粹租個位發洩下……唉

我好佩服有英國醫學院 offer 的孩子。過五關斬六將，真係唔容易。除了成績要 top score, 要有 work experience, 仲要面試表現標青。真心佩服！我唯一的 advise 是：一定一定要有 backup plan 。就算成績好，面試啲嘢好難講，好講臨場狀態及考官心情。有一定主觀成份。
利申：英國醫學院3個 rejection, 一個 waitlist。正在努力溫書，希望 meet 到香港的 CO.

另外，英國每一間醫學院的要求不一樣，focus 不同。提議你去 The Student Room 做吓功課。我就係衰咗冇睇，冇做功課。以為孩子和學校的 counsellor 會搞掂。結果衰左。祝你一切順利，努力，加油！

真的！作為一個國際生報讀英國醫科，過程甚為艱辛。不過有志者事竟成，優異成績是基本要求，另外及早作好準備、儲工作經驗、了解大學要求、考好UCAT/BMAT、積極準備面試、再加上一點兒幸運之神眷顧，也有機會達成心願。

我兒子現在英國讀A-level, 幸運地英國及香港也有 Medicine Conditional Offers。

有心想讀醫的同學加油！

no worry. they can manage it but of course will be verrrrry busy. apply both in parallel according to the timelines and plan. Get the offers first is the key.

another alternative of back up is apply to Australia Medic after Alevel if worries about missing the HKU 4A* offer. But need to prepare ahead for the UCAT ANZ tight timelines.

Thank you for your advice. That's indeed our plan. Right now, she's 100% dedicated to studying for the exam. But we know nothing about AUS unis, will need to do some research, especially about internship opportunities for international students.
