It is a bit hard to say if Summer School would help (my kid did it before he joined Reception a few years ago). Summer School is different from regular school of course in terms of curriculum and daily activities. However the Summer School is a good and fun program so there is definitely no harm to join. If anything, it has helped my kid to transit from another kindergarten to KIS at that time - at least in terms of getting used to the school environment.

Is there an existing whatsapp group for 2018/2019 reception ? My son has just been offered a place for reception class starting this Aug, I would like to join for the whatsapp group.

Hello, 好奇一問，之前參觀過學校兩次，見到兩位reception class teachers 好似喺 Kis 做左好耐，感覺良好，唔知大家對兩位老師有咩comment 呢？

想問國際部, YEAR 7升YEAR 8 , 是否整班同學一齊升班? 不需要再分班?中學有多少班? 有同學留班嗎? 因考慮插班, 怕適應問題.

我囡在local school 讀緊P5, 想讀KIS 但想她報讀多一年Primary Section 即Yr 6 , 可以嗎？

如果係 1/9 或之後出世，下學年係插 Year 6, 如果 31/8 或之前，就真係要問下學校了

Just wondering if any of you can tell us whether or not Reception year needs to buy books for this coming Sept. As we have been informed that the information pack will only be sent in July. I have heard that we have to order books in July to guarantee the books arrive on time. Thanks a lot if any one of u can help with the above issue
