Wondering if your little ones have started in Kellet reception or not? Just wondering if you have a ... Yes very few Asians. In a class of 22 there are only 2 Chinese and by this I mean 華人 not mainlanders. So local HKers are included. You will mainly be working with British/Australian/American families in school events but since both my husband and I studied abroad since teenage years, we have no problem with this. Kids love the school.
As many forum contributors have already rightly pointed out, the only set back is that Chinese is minimal here. So we have hired a private tutor to supplement the Chinese curriculum. Since both of my kids attended local kindergarten and already started writing Chinese characters (no kidding, they are difficult!! K2 is writing 雷電 and 媽媽 and 飛鳥!! ) before starting at Kellett, so far their Chinese seem to be fine. But again, perhaps my expectation is not that high to begin with.
