It is unfair to compare primary school students. Many children are late bloomers (especially boys) and the results has nothing to do with the school. That is also why I hate when people compare "academic results" of different primary schools. Note that a lot of very successful people performed poorly in primary school.
It is more meaningful to see how students perform at secondary. But ESF students shuffle around when entering Year 7 into different secondary. Although many people feel that SJS is the feeder secondary school for STC (and KJ for KGV), students do have to shuffle.
In any case, this has been discussed in other topics. The comparison of different results (even IB results) is not that meaningful when you understand that the school has no control as to what learning attitude the students have. For example, because there are more chinese and indian at STC and KGV, these school constantly top the results of other ESF school on the island. But it does not necessarily mean the ESF schools on the island are not as good.
Disclaimer: I am SJ and STC parent.
