Anfield: Mostly english. may be 80% english

Tutor Time: 50% english 50% Mandarine

It is hard to say. It depends on your preference. Say... do you want your kid to learn more mandarine, like TT spend 50% of the time in mandarine while Anfield put more emphasize on English. I believe both of these good have their good point. Since you kid is two years old, you can try their playgroup for a term. It will give you more idea.

我女女之前都讀過Tutor Time ，我都係參觀過區內所有Playgroup先決定邊間合女女多d。
Tutor Time：英語老師是美國回流唐人，美國口音，很professional. 語文老師可以handle kid's behaviour problems.但個助教老師係香港人，講既係香港口音英文兼文港有錯個種。至於國語老師方面，有本地國語老師（以廣東話為母語），都有來自北京的。
課程方面，我覺得安排得非常好。

HI Puibb,

As I have visited Tutor Time last week & think the facility & campus is pretty good. But I still not yet visited others like Auntie Lily, Kingston, Anfield etc. Can you please tell me more why you choose Tutor?
As I feel very frustrated how to select the good playgroup?

As the other mummies say, I think you need to visit the school to see for yourself. Tutor Time and Kingston are 50:50 English:Mandarin whilst Anfield is more English. However, only TT and Anfield have playgroup classes on Saturday so if you are like me and want to take your bb to playgroup, you need to consider this as well. All the information is available on their websites. My bb is attending playgroup at TT and I agree that the course is very well-structured but the assistant teacher is only so-so.

TT allows you to pay month by month but for Kingston and Anfield, I think you have to pay by term so they are not so flexible.

you can ring Emily at Tutor Time - she is very nice. She will take you around the school (anytime Mon-Fri or Sat morning) and she says you even join one of the classes to see if you like it. You can get the telephone no from their website. www.tutortime.com.hk I think

my son is attending Anfield playgroup now, he enjoy very much, i prefer Anfield becoz i like they use mostly English and with England style.

Anfield use Letterland.

However, for K1, i will then prefer Tutor Time.

Hello Blythe_miki,

My daughter's birthday same as your son. I am looking for Kindergarten for Wai Wai, too.
She is my first child and I decided to let her study in International school but no idea which one is good for her. We live in Tsuen Wan so the nearest is ESF Tsing Yi but worry about whether she can get the admission and promote to ESF primary afterward as she is not a native English speaker. If it is the case, where to study when she finish K2 in ESF Tsing Yi.

If not ESF, don't know which one is good. Could you share your perference with me. What is your 1st choice. Please give me opinion!!

my 1st choice is ESF Tsing Yi, we live in Tung Chung. I have just sent out a letter to get an application form. Really hope ESF will accept my son...

For K2 after ESF, i will choose Starter. This international Kinder. is very good too.

I prefer Anfield over Tutor Time and so that's where my baby is at now.

1) Anfield - less people than Tutor time per class. I went to visit both, and at Tutor Time there were 15 kids and 1 adult AND 3 teachers in a class. CHAOTIC.

Anfield maximum 10 kids. Most of the time, less than 10 depending on which class time you choose.

2) Tutor Time is more colourful, and more space.

3) Anfield- very strict with policies, uniform, routines, and good curriculum.
