The F1. parent's orientation day is on Saturday morning? And the bridging courses will be arranged in the morning or in the afternoon during summer holiday? Thanks.

The orientation day is usually in a Saturday afternoon. In my son's years the students were divided into 6 groups & with different time schedule but all classes were in the morning.
Could other parents share their experience?

Hi spc parents,My son will be spc student of F.1 in Sept. May I ask about the bridging course? Do we need to pay any tuition fee?and when will it be started? Please advise.

It should be free for bridging course. Usually, it is schedulted in early August.

Bridging course在8月上2星期，每天1.5小時，7月12日註冊便知確實日期。

課程在八月第一至二个星期舉行，為期兩星期，不用付錢。唸英、數和Science，最後一天有測驗。St Paul 的數學最深，如你的小朋友數學比英文、中文畧遜，請在暑假時補習打底。本校Maths教得淺，但考試測驗卷就好深。開學後，可以參加逢星期一三五lunch time的數學輔導班，老師Mr Ng会每堂派notes，將近考試前更會派其他名校(如Queen's, La Salle.....) 考試測驗卷給同學温習。

Thank you for your sharing. 小兒從其他小學入St. Paul's.所以難以知道Maths程度可否跟上.待開學後再打算.
有關中文課用普通話教,是否要通過考試?有幾班?

taipoma, in S2 and S3 three classes' Chinese will be conducted in 普通話, the school uses the boys' SI 普通話 final exam ranking and the parents' preference to decide who should be in these classes. All classes, including these 3 classes, still have 普通話 lessons.

kiefer, I only recall that 3 yrs ago those classes were in the morning.
