My boy studies both KCIS and KCS. I pay HK$4XX per month for KCS and HK$5,100 for KCIS. Both KCS and KCIS are very good school. All native speakers teach in both kindergartens. If you targets local school, I suggest KCS.
But my friend's son is in K1 this year and going to both KCIS (am) and KCS (pm). What she told me is, quite a few students are doing the same thing, and the teachers knows about it.
Personally, I think the school needs to tighen their rule on this, otherwise, it's not fair for all the other kids who are interested to study in either KCS/KCIS
Your friend's son will be in the last batch of dual KCS/KCIS, but not 2013.

it depends you choose IB scheme or local 334 scheme. If you prefer IB scheme, of course should select KCIS. But if you prefer 334 primary + secondary, of course you should choose KCS
