I have registered in SC before and just received a call from HKPS that provided me an offer ? How can I choose ? SC is better or HKPS?

Kln tong

both SC and HKPS are in Kln Tong, both are pm class. CS is Eng/Can, HKPS is Eng/Ptu.

Sorry then I can't help. My girl is studying at HKPS (Ascot). But for your info we chose to stay at HKPS and give up the offer of SC having considered the sch fees, sch location, teaching medium, class size, my girl's performance at HKPS during N1 and provision of snacks etc and ect.

Mine is a boy and he has a youngr brother also. Why if a boy better choose HKPS? Any reasons?

I pay for SC Sept fees already because they accepted my child in the first round. So I want some strong reasons why I change to HKPS.

Actually, the new HH campus a little bit disappointed me about the insufficiency of manpower, I am stuggling on class size and the difference of the their training. I heard that SC train their confidence (may be because of more 朗誦)
How about HKPS? What are their focus of training ? Is it reading ? Kids happy and confident or not?

But HKPS offer U Eng/Ptu, and do U consider Ptu is important issue? if yes, go to HKPS.

Where do you hear about 朗誦? If you mean "show and tell", then it is true; but if you really mean 朗誦, then it is not true. SC has nothing to do with 朗誦 or that opportunities, although they would offer a chance for them to tell story once a year in a story telling. competition.

Also, SC's class size in K2 ranges from about 20 (or 18?) to 24/25, depending on the size of the classroom. One teacher; plus one assistant (that assistant goes to different classes) during grouping session.

Unsure about HKPS.

I am also struggling btw KV pm (repeat K1) and HKPS (KLN Tong) K2/pm Eng/PTH class.  My small boy just completed K1 in a small KG.

Would u please advise:

1) why did you give up KV offer?
2) which KG do you choose now?
3) yours is a boy or girl? was born before 31-Aug or after?

From your information, how is SC's reading training, what will they do in the lesson? And you mean one teacher+ one assistant, is it NAT + local?What combination is it?

Hi Cass, actually KV is a good kindergarten, most children are good discipline, as my child is a discipline guy, he likes reading and spelling (actually we do not request on this), so we would like to make it balance, so we give it up.
