(1) actual result announcement date according to the school

(2) actual day of receiving admission letter

of DGJS for last year (2010-2011)?

If you refer to last year's thread:
Offical announcement should be 19/12/2009 but most parents received the letters 1 day earlier (i.e. on 18/12/2009 Friday).

This year official date states 21 Dec 2010 Tue).

I see, just 1 day earlier.
I thought it is like GHS which is 2 weeks earlier.
So have to wait for 5 weeks from now!

I am thinking why it takes 5 weeks to send out the final result letters.

Probably from 1 Nov - 15 Nov, the Headmistress picked more than 140 candidates. Since she had just 10 mins to scan through 2 candidates' portfolio and school report, she may pick all those she likes. Then within the 5 weeks, she will read through their portfolio and school report again, so as to pick up the final 140?

This is just what I guess. Is there anyone here knows anyone from DGJS to resolve this mystery, that is, why it needs 5 weeks to reach the final result?

學校在1ST IN時已講明21/12或之前會有Result, 咁仲點解要thinking why佢要5個星期出result呢?
當然家長一定想儘快知道, 但呢d係學校既行政, 人地都有個確實日子俾你, 仲急咩呢?

anyone knows the offer letter and the reject letter from DGJS is of the same thickness?

what I mean is whether the offer letter is thicker as it may contain more information such as registration procedures, bank auto debit form, etc?

and anyone knows how much is needed to hold the seat?
