是的, 入到2nd round即waiting list總算還有個機會, 我個朋友因為佢小朋友係12月細仔所以上年唔得 (後來得知), 佢今年再考都入到2nd round了~
希望在人間, 不要氣餒~

What you felt is much alike my hubby as we are from an ordinary family too.

However, I felt a total different. I think the principal is very kind to let us be prepared to the final result.

Totally agreed, especially if you are totally unrelated. It is already a very good job for your child and you!

My friend's kid was interviewed on the first day of the 2nd interview schedule, i.e. 1/11/2010 and she told me that Principal kept talking about how school life would be, the orchestra stuff, how kids' talents being explored in the school, etc. She only raised concern abou the district where my friend is living (in the New Territories). Does it mean that the kid has a fair good chance?

校長真的這樣說嗎?? 你會唔會誤解了?! 校長的意思會唔會係如果有其他學校收了你的小朋友,你會唔會接受? or點解唔接受其他offer而選擇SPCC...etc???

其實校長一直都係介紹學校程度,會有其它暗示嗎？入到2nd in我已經好開心,平常心去對待結果.

我覺得甘既情況,做家長同小朋友都好慘,滿懷希望甘去,但竟然去到就知唔得...雖然waiting唔等於無機會,但斷估都唔會有幾十個位甘多啦. 原來無second in都唔系一件壞事,最起碼自己唔會多一個幻想..........

I believe the principal already have a list before the 2nd in . I meet 2 pairs of parents on the date that we had 2nd in. I believe they both are wealth persons. We were after them. Simply you can tell we have big different.

Ordinary family ? I think most of us are from ordinary family.... but we were not involved in your interview. U are the only one could tell the principal's meaning...

I don't think i have a good chance too... tho the principal didn't show any hints to us. As I have an elder daughter is studying in a fairly good primary school already...

I should clarify that both my hubby and I didn't feel being looked down by anyone.

He just felt very disappointed as it is very obvious that we are not on the list very soon when we started the 2nd in.

For us, the principal mainly mention the education level of the school. No others.

Someone told me that if she talked about those orchestra, note book, outward bound details should be good news.

Also, we thought that time spent also indicate something.

We didn't mis-interpret what the principal said. That is exactly what she tell us! We were very shock when she said that, we both know we won't have any chance.... She didn't mention anything about the school life or purchase a computer......

If the principal tell you about the school life or to purchase a computer to be used at the school. Congratulation! that means you have high chance.

Really, the interview time had some hidden meaning? Then how long you take the interview? Mine only 15 mins, is it sounds bad?

我路過，但係想同有second in家長講，唔好氣餒，我有同事家景普通，一個錢5個使，家住藍田某大型屋苑，典型中產，大仔係無關係下入晒SPCC，二仔second in時校長亦暗示過因為係細仔機會不大，終於喜出望外正選收左，但係三仔去年second in 校長無點講野，但係最後唔收！所以希望在明天！加油！

Hi Parents

I feel that our chance is very slim as well, how long your interview last? Ours only last 10 min, and the principal did not mention about the school life at all, just asked something like the daily life of the kid and our ways in teaching him.

And to parents who quoted the principal of saying that they should take other offers?? that sounds rather strange, is it really the case? What exactly she said? pls tell us more.

一人工作賺錢5人用. 但可以負擔兩位孩子在SPCC的學費也非易事. 一可能是公務員? 又或者申請資助?

Sorry , I don't want to mislead you. That's just what we think only.

For us, only 10 mins but we saw some interviewed for very long time, more than 20 mins.
