If you have determined to send your kid to international primary school, I will suggest you choose KCIS. If you have not decided, I think you better stay in Victoria.

In term of school fee, well KCIS is a bit expensive but more important consider factor is what path have you choosen for your kid in P1

but I heard that the secondary section in KCIS is not gd , since they share compus with local stream, their studens is not gd. If my son study in KCIS, I may need to find another secondary school after primary. That might create another issue ><

Some parents choose KCIS because of Putonghua and Chinese. Of couse now you will have some other choice such as 弘立，耀中 or Singapore international - these schools also have a high standard of Chinese. They just started their IB, so yet to confirmed the standard in term of academic level. Nevertheless, it is now becoming popular as most of the international schools in Hong Kong do not offer a higher level of Chinese standard

KCIS 中小學 & KCS 中學雖然在同一校舍 (寶馬山)，但佢地上學集隊、小息時間唔同，所以碰面機會唔多。

E.g. KCIS 小學上學集隊前，中學部(both KCIS & KCS)的哥哥姐姐已上曬班房，小息又唔同時間，唔會見到中學部 (both KCIS & KCS) 既哥哥姐姐。

除 campus 較細&舊外，KCIS 係一間非常非常好既學校。

我小朋友以前都係讀維記(由 PN 至高班)，維記都唔錯，但若再選擇我會選KCIS Kindergarten。

如果未揀定(local or international path)，我覺得 KCIS+KCS係一個唔錯既安排，在同一校舍返2間學校真係好方便，不過就要犧牲其他課外活動。

But I do think if you want your kids go to international Primary, it will better to take Victoria because they are running IB. Please also be reminded most of the children of KCIS are local Chinese compare with the other international schools.

Victoria kins are local schools with native english teachers and KCIS is an international school.  Most of kids in both schools (Victoria kins & KCIS) are local chinese.  But the acceptance rate of good international primary from Victoria Kins is only around 50% (as they are local kins).  But the acceptance rate for real international kins (e.g. Anfield, Woodland, etc) is over 90%.

Most of kids from Victoria kins would join local primary schools finally and most of kids from KCIS would join international primary schools at the end.

Only Belcher campus of Victoria kin is an IB accredited school, other Victoria kins are not.  KCIS runs British National Curriculum (BNC) which is the same as most of ESF primarys.

From time to time, some students would transfer from KCIS to ESF/other IS or vice versa.  For Victoria Shanghai Academy (Victoria primary & secondary), the students would transfer to HKUGA or vice versa.

You should choose Victoria Kin unless local path is your cup of tea.  If you plan for international path, KCIS is more suitable than Victoria kin.
