Though it is a rush outing today......but I think most of the students are having great time with their parents and classmates.....both my girl and I enjoy it.

After having fun for half day, my girl cried loudly and miserably when I told her at 1:30pm that I have to go back to work.......she kept on saying while tears running out like waterfall "Mama, pls don't go to work, I pay you 50 dollar and you stay, OK? "........我結果不忍心離開，哄她睡了才走......so, late for work again : ) Hiiiiiiii........life as a working mum is like this. Envy you, full time mums : )

Yes the kids enjoyed themselves very much. Even when I came back home tonight, my boy is asking me when they will go to the zoo again. This is a good experience to them. I think I will reflect this to the teacher. Not sure if the school could arrange another one next term.

My girl said this to me before she closed her eyes to sleep yesterday night "我今日真是玩得好開心呀".....so glad to hear this.  What we parents want is they are happy happy every day.

GIPW, bring your boy back again lah, there are more to see and not many people even during weekend.....so, fresh air.  K1A children did not see the big snake, the crocodile and the gourila yesterday due to the time constraints.

BTW, based on your girl's experience.  How often is this kind of outing being organised per year (not including the big Spring Pinic)?

Sorry, typo, I mean "K1C children did not see...." I still not yet get used to my girl changed from N1A to K1C, so, often tell people she is in K1A : )

I checked the photo of my girl - they went while they were in K2. I think at that time it is only once a year and in K3 they once went to the beach and to the quarry bay park for drawing. But for the beach outing, they did not invite parents to go but just helpers.

Helper? I trust you are not talking about the maid : )

But how they select the helpers from the parents? The school has never asked if I want to be the helper in future school activities woh.....actually, if it asks, it will be difficult for the working mum, like us.....to be actively involved.

I don't mean the maid. The teacher will usually approach the full time mum for help so I am also not on the list tough

This forum has been inactive for more than 3 weeks lah woh.  Let me make it active again by writing something here : )

I am so excited about tomorrow's performance.  I still remember the last year's performance of my girl, so cute.........I trust this year will be better as they are now one year older.

My girl keeps on asking me to do the X'mas homework with her.  It seems she likes it very much and has almost finished the whole book lah......so, nothing to do during X'mas tim.  Any good book (similar to the one distributed from school) refer to me so that I can buy to do it with her.  I like the one distributed by school as it has many stickers.

Just returned from a long Christmas break. Happy New Year to all of you. First day of school today - my son does not want to wake up and he feels very sleepy (side effect of a long holiday) :)

GIPW, happy new year to you and all your beloved too! My girl did look forward to school after the long holiday and was relatively easy to wake up in these 2 days.

Can't believe our children have gone to K1 for one semester already, time really flies when there is a milestone for us to measure.

No ah, as my girl has been infected with Swine Flu before lah, so, supposed to have one year protection loh.

My friend's relative who is a doctor suggested my friend to wait and observe first woh as there are some unknown side effect with this vaccine. So, I will not let my girl has this vaccine even if she is not infected before.

I know Chens has just let her girl injected with this vaccine. You can consult her on this if you want to know more.

三聯有新雅出版社或其他出版社都有幼兒班上學期習作類似學校的聖誕習作, I have bought 新雅出版社for my son too, he loves to do it.
