Dear Shatin mama
I have got two interview chances to Pooi Kei and Shatin Wai LMC. PLS kindly advise how to pick either one if both are successful ?
Shatin LMC
- the brand name is better ? that means easy to get better secondary school?? but according to her latest result of % to English school is only 66%. Pooi Kei no formal post on website, but I called they said 84% to get the 1st choice (?)
- the scheme is more simple than Pooi Kei (some mama said that The English standard may not up to their standard)
- the principle may like the Smart kid w/ with good family background although I am okay good. (may not so like the quiet kid ?)
- total 5 classes (from ABCDE), class A is for some outstanding children
- compulsary class on Swimming (alternative even those in Winter), I am afraid no good for kids because my child is a girl, and I am very focusing on the Caring point.
- the principal is aggressive (not sure caring enough ?) How about the teachers ?? with good/caring attitude ??
- 0830am to 0330pm
Pooi Kei
- 0810am to 0250pm
- optional to some acitivies
- heard that the Engish standard is quite heavy, English Maths/Science. NOT sure it will encouter any problems or not.
- I called the vice princiipal that they said they not always to post the English secondary % on the website (the next will be in Sept 2009), he just told me that last year is 84% people to get their 1 choice (in fact, not sure trure or not)
Any experiences mama can share with me about these two schools, which you favourite or why not farourite. Overall comment on them ? Appreicate your help. |
