I also felt that Kinder U is too money-minded. My husband and I don't really like the attitudes of the teacher there. Let me share my experience to you.
We attended the trial lesson few weeks ago. We went there well before the lesson start and so we sat at the waiting area. There were 2 more BBs sitting there too. A foreign teacher (an English native speaking lady, she is one of the teacher there) passed by and my B saw her, just don't know why he was very exciting, looked at her and "wu, wu, wu wu" to her. But the lady was very unfriendly and did not even have eye contact with him. She only said "Hello" and played with the other 2 babies who sat next to my B. My B tried to use his hand to touch her but still she did not care him. I felt as a playgroup teacher, at least she should be nice to BB, turn her head and smile but she didn't. The other 2 babies are old customers and belong to her class (but my B just attended the trial lesson and not belong to her class). My feeling was very bad immediately and felt that playgroup teachers should not be like this.
That day, two new babies attended the trial class. My baby and another baby. After the lesson, I had to go to the toilet and so all babies and their parents of my class left. The one who also attended the trial lesson also left without paying the trial fee. But we were very unlucky. As my husbad and my B were waiting me at the reception area, they asked my husband whether our B would continue to join. Once they know my B won't continue to join, they asked us to pay the trial lesson fee. Finally we paid. Before attending the trial lesson, I called before if they have free trial lesson and they said yes at that time. But now they said it's free of charge only to those who continue to enroll their course and then the trial one is free. Otherwise we have to pay. But how about the other baby who also attended the trial lesson? His parents did not need to pay coz they left immediately. How unlucky we were. I felt not only the teachers' attitudes are unfriendly but also the insititution is really bad! Too money-minded! |
