祟真小學家長 - 請幫忙

Dear 祟真小學家長，

我兒子明年九月可能入讀祟真小學讀小一，我想請問祟真小學家長可否給我一個大約數字，一個月花在小朋友身上大約要多少錢，以便我自己計算我是否能負擔得起。多謝幫忙！

每月開支
1) 學費 - $2180
2) 校車 (葵興 - 石峽尾) $
3) 雜費 - $
4) 午膳費 - $
5) 課外活動 (一生一體藝) - $
6) 功課輔導班留到 5 時至 5時半 (學校開那些) - $
7) 其他 (如有的話) - $
8) 鐘點 5pm - 7:30pm $2000

父母均要返工，小兒現讀全日幼兒園，學費 $2500，學琴和游泳合共 $1000，請鐘點 5pm - 7:30pm 湊放學和煮飯一個月 $2000，以上加埋 $5500 尚算可以。不知將來讀小學是否負擔得起。如果真是大大超出預算 (例如有朋友兒子說讀宜道不計菲傭人工都要 $8000)，可能未必讀得起。

My comment to TT is positive. TT is indeen a very good school in every aspects and I'm satisfied with it so far.

As I don't want to promote the school by my one side opinion, so I think it would be better is you can list out your questions and I would try to answer you to the best of my knowledge.

請問崇真小學既功課量及測考多唔多,功課以做project為主還是抄寫?如果做project係咪好多時都要家長協助呢?係活動教學嗎?另外,請問你小朋友有無參加課後功課輔導班呢?效果如何?唔好意思太多問題.但呢度好似無乜幾個小朋友係讀崇真,所以麻煩你分享一下.多謝

I am not familiar with the school net of SSP. I think it’s a bit too early to think for secondary school.

傻妹

1. First term - 2 tests & 1 exam, Second term – 1 test & 1 exam
One dictation each week (i.e. this week is Chinese & next week will be English)
The first test was conducted in October and the second test is coming at end of November. It is okay for me as I treat it as a revision only. For example, the first test covered Chapter 1 to 3 & the second term will cover chapter 4 to 7. The first test was not difficult, as I used only one week end to do revision with my son, he can still get over mark 90 for every subjects. As it is the first test, I believe the teacher would like to make easier than the normal one, so don’t take it as a typical example.

2. Only one project for P.1 student, my son has completed the cover page at school and no parent participation is required up till now.

3. My son doesnt join the tutorial class but some of his classmates do. Their comments are positive.

Thank you very much for your reply. According to you, it is not that busy in terms of dictation and exams.

BTW, there are different info about no. of pupils per class, can you tell me how many students in your son's class?

呢個星期要交留位費，而下星期自行收生會放榜，如果津校收亞仔，咁係咪要即刻決定讀邊間呢？因為如自行收生成功要17、18號註冊呀！但我又想等其他私校放榜喎！請給意見。謝！

My daughter will probably study in this school next year. From what I have read and learnt, students are enjoying the school life very much and that is my ideal kind of school. But will the syllabus be behind when comparing with its counterparts. Also, do the students in fact have good command of English? And how is the Mandarin standard?

Hi All

1. Regarding the school activities / homework / exam / test, I would say it is busy but not so difficult.

2. I believe the Putonghau & English is above the average standard. Chinese Language class is conducted in Putonghau; English, General Studies & Maths are conducted in English; English Reading & Music by native English teachers, so what can you say? A very good language environment is provided, but it doesn't mean every students can have very good Eng / Putonghua standard. The student's ability and the family cultivation are affected and made the difference.

24人一班?你仔係咪讀國際班?我噚日問過書記,佢話35人一班.
你仔仔有參加課後功課輔導班嗎?請問你對呢部份有咩評語呢?因為我都要個囡參加,但好似唔係學校老師負責睇住佢地,唔知好唔好呢.

Which kindergarten your kid is studying? Could you share the interview experience? What questions, conducted in Eng. or Cantonese?

Do anyone know why the deadline is according to the vancany is full, not like other school. Is it mean that less parents choose this shool?

How about compare with Po To?

1. According to the principal, standard class size is 36, but they would like to keep down the class size for P.1 to 30, for better care of small kid. The class size will be adjusted to normal at P.2 or above. It is the arrangement of last year, but I am not sure the arrangement of this year.

2. TT is definately not a famous or popular school, but if TT is not welcomed by parents, it is impossible to open 5 classes P.1 this year, provided we have paid for it.
