Skateboardp,

I had our interview today as well. But a lot earlier (schedule time 8:45am) In fact we were the first one. We waited for 1/2hr to see Ms. Lee. Agree that she is very nice. She asked the same question about the strenght and weakness of our son and spend most of the interview introducing the school.

She also asked us where we live and told us that there will be school bus from our place etc.

She told me my son that he can read the book but the little guy prefer just sit there and listen to the whole interview process. So funny.....

Good luck to all the kids and hope we can both get in!

I'm ok la~~ My boy just finished his first term tests. He enjoys his school life very much because no girl there. How about kv? Bet that he has been doing very well.

Hi FM,

Did we just miss you? We walked in at 9:15am. Did you see us? We sat closest to the interviewing room the whole time.

Ms. Lee also said to our daughter that she could read some books. My daughter nodded and said yes, and then asked my wife if she could sit aside and read some books. The whole interview was very pleasant. I sincerely hope that our kids can be schoolmates next year :)

Yes, this moment looks stressful to you. I had this feeling before. But now I'm glad that God has choosen the best school for my kid. This will happen to your daughter, too.

Thanks lemonred. We are already very thankful to the Lord for all His provision and guidance. If our daughter is finally accepted at SPCC, it will be a big bonus for us. We will definitely share the result here no matter what. :)

My son is a P2 student now..... time flies!!

Is your son also P2 as well? I also bet that your son must be vv happy and doing excellent in SPC.

Yes, Kv did pretty well in the 1st assessment 2 weeks ago cos the papers were not really difficult. He loves the school and the new campus vv much!

Did you get the Chinese books I recommended before?

Dear Skatebordp,
I think we just miss each other. We walked in the room at around 9:10am. May be you see us coming out from the room. I wore a black jacket while my son wear a pink shirt and vest la.

Don't think too much. Each kid's development is different. We don't have 2nd in but I think is OK as I believe in my son. He can read quite a no. of Eng books by himself now, enjoy reading books and listening to stories; but he's a bit shy and sometimes unwilling to speak up. He is very cheerful. It's his character and will improve as time goes, just that at this point in time not the targets of St. Paul Co-ed. His father is also not being accepted by popular/good primary schools (maybe even worse), and can still stand on his own when grow-up. Most important of all is how the parents bring up the kid, and never give up. I always think positive, and try my very best to help my son. He's a "small kid" and not welcomed by most popular school. I must accept this. No matter finally which school he enters, I believe he will make it, and be a useful person in future.

我們這一代,只要認真踏實再加一些智慧,在工作上不難得到一些回報,如老闆的讚賞/同事的認同/實際的回報…但說到為孩子爭取進入理想的好學校,卻可以是付出的心血大而換來的回報少(或零).所以對於認真的父母而言,那打擊可不少,IceCrm我很明白你.
另外,我記得一位前輩提及在大抽獎當日,即使結果不太理想,亦不可在孩子面前愁眉苦臉地嘩聲說 : 今次死啦!!!點解派間咁嘅學校……孩子看在眼內,這六年真是苦了,因他不會接納自己的學校,更不會以此校為榮.所以我不斷提醒自己,要盡快戀上另一間學校,相信天父的安排是好得無比的…
願所有失望的爸爸媽媽turn that frown, upside down… because you have faith in God that if he closed a door behind you, he would open a new window.

在各位家長身上, 我真的學到很多野, 亦有很多的反思

衷心祝福所有可以有second interview 的小朋友, 可以入到SPCC

另外, 亦祝願其他小朋友入到一間合適的學校, 相信神一定會為所有小朋友安排最好的

I just call to SPCC to check and get the reply that all the 2nd interview letter has been sent out. You may suppose the application is failed, if you do not get any call and letter at this moment.

Just cheer up and wait for other DSS's result.
