last year competition was very keen

Well, last year's competition was really very very keen, according to some alumni of SPCC. I know a girl whose father is the graduate of both the primary and secondary school but she still wasn't accepted. Many of you think that the group A children have higher chance to be accepted; of course, statistically speaking, it is true. But the competition among group A is in fact as keen or even keener because there are so many outstanding graduates of SPCC and most of them are doctors, lawyers and they are very very very wealthy. Indeed, the parents of many current students of SP are doctors. So, you may have an advantage if you are a doctor. Anyway, being accepted by SP is like winning the mark six lottery. 去年都好似話有500-600名有關係的人投考, 收105個有關係的, 即是話有幾百人被reject. 所以有關係不是一定得, 相信校長會揀d有家底又叻的小朋友.

Although SPCCPS did not reveal the no. of related applicants who were recruited last year, I think that the related applicants recruited last year did not amount to the upper limit of the quota i.e. 105. This is my personal opinion only. Therefore, add oil !

Anyone receive the 2nd interview letter? Just want to know when will SPCC will start the 2nd interview.

I didn't receive the 2nd interview yet. School said the 2nd interview should start at about end Oct to Nov. Letter will only be sent after 1st interview finished. Some mum here said the interview will finish at about 22/Oct but school cannot confirm this information. Be patient. Don't worry but I also understand it's hard to wait.

My kid got the interview in the afternoon. There are only few parents there. It seems that some parents are giving up. The chance is very small but my kid like a lot about the school. Anyway, waiting for the result...

If your kid can enter the 2nd interview, you will most probably receive the phone call from school before you receive the letter.

My girl had an interview few days ago. I feel that children had a lot of free time during the hour of interview. Do any of you think that too? May be we are the "unrelated batch".....the school does have any interest in us at all!!

打過电話問學校,接綫員說2nd-in 會by late Oct to early Nov but would not give parents any calls on the arrangement.

我估,大家在下週開始可留心閱下的mailbox.

咁我22號in, 咪即係最尾嗰

實無chance la!

我叫隻佬去交form,但返嚟個folder仲有份profile 係度, 佢話佢交左, 嗰份可能係我prepare 既duplicate, 我懷疑, 隻佬連profile 都無交到....點算好??? 定係間學跟本唔收profile???
