No, he doesn't have very strong English background. I said "sometimes" not all the time, but still good for him. He doesn't speak very good english, I just can say "not bad". He is willing to speak and keeps improving. I am happy for it anyway.

I have seen some concerns about Chinese (non-foreigners) teachers teaching English.
I don't know that many English teachers in PKC. I have spoken over the past with 3 Chinese and 1 foreigner teachers. Their English standards are generally good. To be fair, their standards are way higher than the average English teachers in other schools.
The bus arrived 30 minutes late. Nobody called me.
I called the auntie in school bus. She said my child was not in her bus today... No definite answer could be given. She could not tell which auntie I should call.
Even if special arrangement has to be made for the coming typhoon, phone calls should be made by the auntie in bus at least, instead of leaving people to wait out there in the wind like a dolt.
