I extracted the info. from the site. If St. Cat will not organize this, it seems difficult for parents to gather 20-30 kids and do practicing. Besides, there must have parents with music background wor!

自從升上K2後, 我做咗"隱"者, 因為太忙, 所以大多時間都係只睇唔寫, 但今日見到你寫Charmaine嘅情況, 都好想同你share吓。

我記得上年NE班, 放完復活節長假期, Ron心散咗好多, Ms Chan聯絡我, 話比我聽Ron上堂唔係咁集中, 成日掛住玩, 出去做功課又好慢先行出去, 甚至乎唔叫唔出, 後尾有一次比Ms Chan罰坐thinking chair, 仲喺學校喊。我嗰陣都好down, 因為問Ron, 佢隻字不提學校發生嘅事, 佢唔想比我知佢啲唔好嘅嘢, 佢咁收埋自己, 我都好擔心, 再問多啲, 佢就發脾氣.....後尾我用咗啲佢鐘意嘅卡通人物編咗個故事引導佢, 後來過多少少時間就冇問題喇。當時, Ms Chan話因為下學期expect佢哋獨立, 所以唔會好似上學期嘜都提住佢哋, 可能咁樣, 面對要開始自己負責時, 就處理得唔好。所以唔好太擔心, 我聽到以前NE班都有一個家長話個小朋友升咗K2後, 唔知係咪多咗功課, 所以成日都好唔開心。我諗佢哋需要啲適應時間, 多啲讚美同奬勵, 應該會有幫助。

上個月聽talk後, 我捉住Ms Tong傾咗一陣, 我哋都有溝通吓我個小朋友嘅性格, 希望可以家校夾吓點做, 不如你抽啲時間同佢返學, 或者湊佢放學, 可以多啲同Ms Tong夾吓計, 同埋等Charmaine安全感多啲

Oxford Reading Tree Order Form綠色個張,我order左本字典$56.50,有圖畫有字,希望小朋友可以記多D生字,其他架書圖書館都有,書展&書局都見過.所以無買.

Everybody's favourite個張,每套$320,我夾左幾個媽咪訂,5套以上有discount,一人一套,可以交換睇.

我個仔咪又係由九月尾開始,日日上校車都喊

,校車ee見到佢個苦瓜乾樣都煩,都唔知ee食左lunch未, 如果未,見完佢個樣真係乜都食唔落,最後,喊到昨日至開始無喊!

The CD will be in a plastic envelope inside the back cover of the storybook. The story will be read once through for expression and enjoyment and then read again for children to read along at the same time. A sound would signal page turns. There will be a short introduction to the story to think about the cover and what the story will be about and the puzzle activity will be pointed out. The Think About questions will be read at the end.

Level 1 - Getting Ready to Read
(one sentence per page = ORT stage 1+-2)

can recognize their own name
match some words and recognize some letter sounds

Level 2 - Starting to Read
(one to two sentences per page = ORT stage 2-3)

can recognize a few words by sight
can use pictures to help read simple sentences
and know some letter sounds

Level 3 - Becoming a Reader
(two to three sentences per page = ORT stage 3-4)

can recognize 10-20 words by sight
can read simple sentences
and know all the initial letter sounds

Level 4 - Building Confidence in Reading
(three to four sentences per page = ORT stage 4-5)

can recognize 30-50 words by sight
can read harder sentences, with less support
and can use sounds to help make words

Level 5 - Reading with Confidence
(four to six sentences per page)

can recognize 75+ words by signt
can read with less support
can read silently and read ahead

書局賣的1 set 6本既 ort, 應該有包埋本 teaching notes, 即1 set 有6本故事書 + 1 本 teaching notes. 但經書校訂既, 有無包埋就唔知, 因開學訂個d都無果本 teaching notes.

講多一個source 比大家參考: 圖書館差不多有斉所有 Oxford Reading Tree 的 cd-Rom ( list in the "Everybody's Favourite" 個 d, except Stage 1 to Stage 3 Phonics).

不過, 好難自己去搵, 可以on-line係圖書館俾 $2.5 reserved. 好快可以轉到你指定既圖書館.

仲有, 我上年用特價$34買左 "Read at Home Flashcards", 我而家用黎比呀囡 build sentence, 好好玩, 不過而家要成 $90, 好似貴左d (因內容同學校d flash card 好似, 不過哩套 d quality 靚好多)

珩珩係開始寫字時都有呢個問題, 我好明白你既感受, 聽/睇到個囡由好鍾意返學, 突然180度喊晒咁話唔返學, 真係好down.

第一次我知道佢係學校喊既時候, 第二日立即返學校同Ms. Chu 了解情況, (其實係佢未習慣寫字, 又固執唔聽老師教), 我便和他去探Nursery 時的班主任 (因為珩珩當 Ms. Cheung & Ms Justine 係 super star), Ms. Cheung 很有耐性咁同珩珩"咬耳仔", 再教我係屋企同佢預備功課, 我又多D同佢提同班同學D名, 問佢1 D 佢平時好鍾意係學校玩既唱遊, 又盡量接佢放學等等, 結果1個星期情況完全好番.

上星期佢知道自己發燒返唔到學, 即刻喊 ---- 原因係佢好掛住 Ms Chu, 好想返學

你加油呀, 媽咪唔開心, 小朋友更加難 cheer up. hehe, 我同老公為左cheer up 呀囡, 連續多日一斉扮老師role play, 等珩珩覺得返學/寫字都可以好開心, 唔好介意我咁長氣講咁多, 我希望呢個方法對芷晴 work lah.

以往的校際幼稚園中英文唱遊, 參加的幼稚園都很pro. 例如Victoria, North Point Methodist, Sacred Heart, Heep Yan等都有齊自製道具, 編排舞蹈走位, 除唱歌外, 有些學生還表演小型樂器, 跳繩我都見過, 佩服

. 我想這些都是學校教的, 家長很難做到吧. 唔知我地囝囝囡囡 upper會唔會有得參加?
