I attended the P.1 introduction seminar last yr. According to the principal, the interview is mainly conducted by way of group playing toys. Teachers will observe the behaviour of the children in order to determine who can enter 2nd round of the interview.

2nd round is for both parents and child, just to know more about child and parents, no pressure!

FYI, no preference for HKU graduates' kids!

Last yr, HKUGA seminar is held in summer holiday, probably in July.

All applicants will be interviewed, don't worry!

BTW, apart from HKUGA, have you got any other primaries in mind?

我囡囡將於今年進入港大同學會小一，在去年约九月中旬於網上取入學申請表，约十月底面試。在面試當天，小朋友約10人一組到課室內，透過遊戲中老師了解小朋友合群表現和理解能力，而父母於禮堂內等候，

我只知道現時一年級的, 不是每個月20本書, 是每日一本書, 需做報告, 但只需下書名、作者等。功課是沒有抄寫、默書, 但很多報告要做, 而且需父母協助。
另面試時, 問了父母2個問題.
問題1) 你們如何協助小朋友閱讀??
問題2) 如你的小孩與其他小朋友打架, 你如何處理??

我囡囡將於今年九月才上小一，所以不知道需要做多少報告，但當初撰擇此校時，因為此校没有太多家課，測驗和考試。將於七月份學校會有一個新生會；通知小朋友的上學時間、校服和教科書等。

教育署於去年中旬規定每間小學在自行分配學位時，不能單獨面試小朋友和父母。所以小朋友不用單獨對答問題，父母也不需要面試。而小朋友的家庭背景(如父母職業、教育程度等)也不會影響入學資格，

在申請入學之前没有未聽過佢地的簡佈會。但面試當天在禮堂等候時，校長便介紹了學校的理念和設備

申請表没有要求。但我為囡囡做了一個File，包括學校評估(因為她讀的幼稚園没有考試，所以没有成績表)、課外活動的成績表。

I've been to the school visit last month.  I found

1.  The students there are really smart (or looked smart).

2.  The school teaches Chin Lang in Mandarin.

3.  The parents' support is very strong.

On the whole, the presentation of the Deputy Principal (a young man) is very impressive. I'll apply the school for my daughter coming Sept.

Try to play a visit to the school and to find out more in person!
