Sorry, i had made a mistake again. There should be only 10 classrooms in each floor, so 5 classes for each grade.

I think both school do not have big difference in primary section, but i don't know about much for secondary.

Hi Symmen:

I think it's not difficult for RC to recruit qualified teachers. But I only wonder that the lady told you that they have not yet decided the number of classes will be in the coming school term. You know, this month is May. And also, somebody had told me that they will have 8 classes in year 7. Is it true? So how many classes will be in year 10,11,12?? In the future, can all the students be remained to study in RC??

As I know, 2 classes of those year 7 belongs to DBPIS (study in RC temporarily) and 6 classes are RC's. By 2008, the 2 classes of DBPIS will move to study in the new campus of DBPIS.

So there are normally 6 classes of each level in RC. If then, RC's year 7 is full this year.

Don't worry, they have a lot of spare classrooms as their senior secondary (year 9 or above) are not filled up.

My kids are in ESF, not RC.

My son is in Year 2. There are about 22-23 students in each class of Y2.

We also received a letter from the school telling us that the school is awaiting the EMB's approval for 2-3% increase of the school fee for 2007-2008.

I received the acceptance letter from RCHK yesterday and my daughter is very happy. She is very excited to start a new school life at RCHK.

Congratulation! My niece will attend the interview this afternoon. She is apply grade 6 also. Is the interview of your daughter held on 21/05? If so, they send out the result within one week?

Yes, my daughter attended the interview on 21/5.
Although, RC said the result will be announced after 2-3 weeks, we received that within one week.

may I ask which year is your kid joining RC ? My son will also join RC after summer for Year 7 so he will be attending their induction day this week! Very excited about this!

My daughter going to Yr 7 after summer,
you know tomorrow is the ESF Wide Transition Day for all Year 6 students 'stepping up' to year 7 next academic year.

yesterday, I phoned to Admission Dept. They replied the yr 1 , only 5 class in this present and hadn't notice to open one more Yr 1 class in coming term.
Do you have any news for this?

The information is from RC web site and this is the full capacity.

According to the lady said during the school tour, RC has not decided the capacity of the coming academic year. And this year, different years have different nos. of classes and nos. of students in each class is from 22 to 27. So I think that nos. of classes are depended on the nos. of students they have and the nos. of students may over 25 each class for future expansion to 6 classes each year.
