我相信你的資料會對今年k.1的家長好有用.  
8月30-31日, 雖然學校話只可以一個家長陪同坐車, 但係你地可以到時問下校車媬姆仲有冇位, 因為如果架車仲有位係可以比兩個家長坐架, 我舊年都有好多爸爸媽媽一齊坐車返學.

you got the name of my son.  I have asked him also, and he said 樂樂 & him are in the "apple" group (he said he is the group leader, but I'm not sure if it is true). He also said that he likes to play with 樂樂. 奇爸will be busy on for the picnic and only me will join.  For any other update info, you can also PM me

我想問吓各位家長 ,如果我小朋友的爸爸以前讀過培正, 並且由幼稚園讀到中學, 有冇分加的? 因為我都想俾我對孖仔入培正讀, 另外, 我地係住西貢, 校方會否考慮小朋友住得近唔近學校來揀選的?

多謝彥彥媽咪！其實都預咗大概四十五分鐘車程番學，只係擔心個仔坐太耐車暈車浪(以往有這樣的經驗)....開學前要同坐多啲小巴先得！(尤其是坑口至西貢101小巴，哈哈！)

hihi,如果父母兄姊是舊生，理應有分加，但我識一位朋友，
母親係畢業舊生都唔收，所以好睇個小朋友！
如果係大仔(出生月份早)咁就機會好大喇！
因為我女為例，佢一月份生日竟然向班裡算細架喇！    ，至於居住地區我認為唔係一個問題！
所以小朋友面試時夠獨立、大擔、同有禮貌係"著數"好多架

Can you advise me how many students are repeating K1 at your son' class.   Do they normally perform better.  I'm still struggling whether to let my son, who was born in Dec 00, the same year of your son born, repeat K1 in PC.  Any comments??

睇完了所有發表後，以我理解，若你仔仔在開學前 (9月1日) 還未足3歲，好 likely 就會唔收，咁你就要報讀 2006年了，所以我同你 case 差不多，我仔仔 11月頭，應該要在2006 年才可讀k1喇！

Yes ga...PC will only admit those kids who were born ON OR BEFORE AUG 31.  So your kids have to join the 2006 K1, they will ask you to submit a copy of your kids' birth certificate when you request for an application form, so if they checked and found that your kids do not match this criteria, they will not distribute the form to you ga....

BTW, as far as I heard, for 2005 K1 or after, another kindergarten (Kowloon Rhenish KG) will also do the same thing (i.e. admit only kids that are 3 yrs old on or before Aug 31), FYI.

Sorry that I do not have such info on hand, because the school won't announce this info, unless we parents know each other, otherwise, we may not be able to know.

However, judging from the list I saw during the 1st day of school, I found that there's quite a lot of students who were born in 1999 Sep - Dec (in my son's class), so I guess they may already attend K1 in some other KGs, if my assumption is correct, then there should be about 1/3 to 1/2 of the students are of such case.

My opinion is that you could let your son repeat in PC, because Dec is "close" to the end of 2001 already, so your son doesn't "lose" much~~ right?? and I believe he could done even better because he got experience, a good chance to build up his self-confidence then!!  What do you think?

Thanks for your reply.  It's hard to decide whether to let my son repeat K1 in PC this year.  The reason why I still struggling is because I've got very positive comments for my son from his teacher and the exam result of the first semester is also good.  I think the academic of my son's school are quite similar to PC.  Students from their kindergarten could also be promoted to their primary school.  So, I really want to know more about PC such as the teaching style, the learning process and the activity that would arrange for students (eg. outgoing, visit some place, etc.) before making decision.
