高主教用全普通話及英文,語言環境唔係好d咩?St. Paul 要到四年級先轉全普通話,好似遲左小小!

St. Paul而家用漸進式, 唔洗d學生咁辛苦.  小一至小三既普通話科加左料, 深過以前, 等d拼音基礎打得好d, 小四既中文科就完全用哂普通話.

I even didn't registered at RC although at that time we had not yet received the acceptance letter from St. Paul.  It was because the class size of RC is too large 1:40+    (pls correct me if I'm wrong)

congrats!  i think both are good, this is why so many people like to compare the two and parents find it hard to pick one but in BK you'll see many people prefer Paul Boys.  i personally think that 入任何一間都值得開心!

my personal view is that you may have to collect more info (factual issues) by yourself to make a choice which you think "best fit" your son.

here are some:

- re academic performance, Raimondi should be higher; i got this from atnext forum:

- however re popularity / degree of fame, St Paul Boys is higher among non-Catholics (因為好多人知有 Paul Co-ed - 勁，以為 oh, there is also one St Paul which is a boys' school，成為左宣傳，哈哈) and at least true in BK;

- you may also consider the following factors:

e.g. Paul Boys is "through train" but Raimondi is not.  I believe this is why Paul Boys is more popular; if parents got both, it's likely that they will give up Raimondi;

re School address, Raimondi will move to wanchai and Paul Boys will move to the southern part near Chifu;

re class size, Raimondi currently uses traditional approach and as large as 30-40 which is not so preferred by parents who love DSS.  Paul Boys uses activity-approach and only 30 a class.  One of the selling point for most DSS nowdays is "small-class teaching", which I think maybe a good thing for education at kinder / primary levels.

有點不公平 : St Paul Co-ed 的前身是St Paul's College, 分家後才出現一間男女校, 一間男校.

Firstly, I think the comment from 壹蘋果網絡 is NOT really reliable that those answers have strong bias against the traditional famous schools.

Take an example:

I just curious to know that who do not want to get in SPCC/DBSPD/DGS/SPCPD once apply. The answer just give me the feeling of "吃不到的葡萄是酸的".  

The parents use their feet to vote.

算啦，呢個社會係甘架 bor，吾同人有吾同價值觀，看同一個世界，人人有不同看法。

我都覺得壹學堂吾係權威，講既野係“有實”有“不儘實”甘啦。quote 出來，係想帶出一個point：一個 coin 永遠都有兩面。呢度有人甘講，第二度又有人甘講。

至於點解會有人甘講呢？我地係成年人，我地應該有足夠的判斷能力去分別是非黑白嘛。

Just a sharing too.

I find that 壹蘋果網絡 has a lot of different so-called experts and their answers are quite funny and keep changing.

For example, they claim that St. Francis is better than 瑪利曼, 聖保祿 & 聖心 in terms of academic result???

I personally do think BK's information is more reliable.

when does it become paul boy? not very nice.

st. paul boys is not a through train,

there is difference between anglican school and catholic school.
