Sorry that I am not familiar with the bus route of Causeway Bay. Maybe other BK parents can help. Otherwise, you can call to the bus coordinator of the route.
Some SSCPS students are wealthy but most are of middle class. From my observation, during swimming gala and other functions, students' appearance are just average, not particularly luxurious. When I compared the price of uniforms of SSCPS with other government or subsidized schools, it is not particularly high. I knew that some private institutes would specify a company for selling (usually more expensive) uniforms.
Lower grades students are not allowed to wear watches (my son told me) and there is no tuck-shop (Hence, students need not directly compare how much they have in pockets). Donations called by the school are quite rare. Nevertheless, there are some optional overseas field trips and students need to learn at least one musical instrument (these need money). By the way, I don't mind my son has friends' having an island or a plane, if any, as long as he has confidence himself.
