今日再問過亞仔，佢終於話佢地講: A pocket full of rice
都幾得意o架，有唱同講，有d好似係聲音o既字，不過佢講得唔係好清楚，有好多字都聽唔清。

請問大家知唔知道老師係點樣教補減數架?? i mean 係叫佢地用手指 (不過我諗應該唔比用手指)?? 定係叫佢地心入面數公仔? 定係好正統咁教佢地用直式 , 橫式計??

因為阿仔教極都唔明, 成日係到撞數字! 而家within 5 就話可以撞下暏, 但遲d 教到10, 仲邊有咁多時間去撞呀?

各位可否問下阿仔/女, 老師講過d 乜呀?

Summer,

My son is sick....since last night, so is his brother who is in K1 too! Little brother's virus passed to him.

Must take care everybody.

I only did a little revision and went to Ocean Park, so he could run around and recharge!

我仔話補減數即係有時用加法, 有時用減法.

E.G.
( ) - 3 = 4. 佢話3同4拖住手仔加埋佢地, 即變 3+4.
7 - ( ) = 4. 咁佢就用手指蓋住()來做減數, 即 7-4.

佢有時用心算, 有時數手指. 不過我未問佢直式.

How are your sons ? Are they getting better now? My son is also sick. He is having a cold and fever now, so he won't be able to attend school today. Oh no.......it's exam week, really not a good time to miss school.

Summer is right, everyone must take good care of yourself and your child, many people get sick lately.

That's the method what my son said too, may be because they are in the same class.

But one more thing I would like to add to it : My son told me in the first case where the first no. is missing, eg: ( ) - 3 = 4, then 3 & 4 must hold hands and add together BECAUSE THE 1ST NO. MUST BE THE LARGEST ONE IN THAT FORMULA.

Do you know what 's questions?

(  ) + 11 = 0
0 +  ( ) = 10
( )  + 1 = 10
1 +  ( )  = 10
10  -  (  ) = 10
( )  -  10 = 11

so many zero?????

pacma and summer,

My elder son has blocked nose and younger has cough, but not as serious as pacma's son!  I hope he'll be OK tomorrow because if it really is exam day today, it'll just get mummy and son more nervous!

Thanks for telling me how the children do maths.  My son doesn't talk about school life much and just do the maths worksheet by himself.  When I logged on last night and knew that it might be maths today, I asked him to do 20 questions before bed time and that's it.

I did english revision with him today but found out he couldn't recognise all words for the sentences.  Haven't done much on Chinese, how about you?  My son really has difficulty in recognising the Chinese word cards.

由於小兒太'脂油', 完全不知甚麼是考試, 請問今天是否考了數學及常識.
另外, 明天考甚麼?
知不知中文認字咭是否為考試範圍, 因看回k2的卷是無考的?

My boy told me he got 2 mistakes and write a "x " on the paper. They seems difficult to do.....but he told me some boy didnt finish .
