我同仔仔仲報左英基, 寶翠園Victoria(now attending their playgroup on Sat, but really 好麻麻...for playgroup, a lot of mamis said not good, but for kindergarten, there's no complaint at all..), 救恩, 禮賢會, St Paul's Church...我覺得任何一間都好ok...

ng計英基同Victoria, 我自己仲意SKH同St Paul's Church, then 救恩, then 禮賢會.. 可能地點關係, 後者比較"街坊" (我絕對ng係話高眼角, but 我真係見過d好rude既家長..)...
如果選英基, 就肯定第日要走'國際'路線, 無得轉番local primary school, 因為中文一定追ng上, 我都係寧願比仔仔讀番中文學校, 第日想既話, 先send him去外國...)

Victoria英文應該好ng錯, 但係我個朋友教緊Causeway Bay Victoria, she told me a lot of "dark side" of that Kindergarten. E.g. 選合唱隊成員啦, 甚麼代表啦, 都要比面有勢力人士 (e.g.陳方安生個孫, even Mrs Chan doesn't request special treat, 老師都識做啦...)...and my friend actually not much things are taught as there's only 3 hours school time each day...everything is very rush..and the school is very 商業化...she said even she has children, she won't send them to Victoria because it's not worthwhile spending that high fee..

如果講環境, 我同老公都最鍾意St Paul's Church..個環境比SKH更適合小朋友, 細細地反而好warm..老師又好鬼nice, 不過派位就好似一般 (其實好多家長都話派位主要關地址事, 不過各位mami心理上都會鍾意派位情況好d既學校, right?)

skh比較似小學, 救恩d老師同嬸嬸都very nice...禮賢會都ok, but 就係比人感覺比較街坊...

Eeee, Esmehouse, 妳已經有小朋友讀緊 skh la? Then totally don't need to worry lar wor... 如果有家人係間學校讀, 通常都實收ga, am I right?

我只得一個小朋友，亦唔識人讀依間幼稚園架，我個小朋友現在讀 Victoria Pre-Nursery，但都想試一試出面既幼稚園，如果真係不幸唔收米讀番 Victoria，順其自然啦

BTW, my daugter is also studying at Victoria Pre-Nusery class.  I'm quite impressed by Victoria, as my daughter always sing songs at home, and pretend what she is doing at school e.g. wash hands, change diapers, tea-time, get school bag, line-up e.t.c.

I just wanna give her a chance to try other good school, and if can get the 學券 from govt.

If we can't secure a place in other KG (we target to apply 3 including SKH), then go back to Victoria lor.

我既諗法同你一樣，都係想比個仔試下考出面既學校

我個仔都好鐘意唱學校既歌，係屋企亦都會自己 wash hands、去 potty 架，仲有呀佢會時時叫老師既名架

我個仔同Esmehouse & Chan_wingyee的小朋友一樣，讀 Victoria PN class 讀得好開心，在家常唱歌，扮老師教書，英文方面有很大的進步。今次考SKH想見試下世面，若考唔到，就繼續讀Victoria。 若考到都有些"煩"，要同亞仔做多些psychological preparation，因亞仔話唔喜歡SKH，可能interview那日，個老師比較cool。
Anyways, 祝各位入到"理想"的學校！

Hi, all,
I absoutely understand the feeling if being ignored by the teacher.  Every parents want to have fairness.   Anyway, if SKH doesn't accept you and my kid, remember don't miss st. paul church. It is really a very good school.

My daughter  冇靠任何關係入 st. paul co-edu., 她是靠自己實力，she is quite smart and 好奇的 girl. during interview , she can only sit down for more than 5 min, then she walked and looked around in the room.  But she has good record in paino and swimming when kindergarten stage.  我覺得d 校長要 醒目仔，唔好死死板板。 there is advantage if your kid is keen on  english, music and sport (table-tennis, swimming, etc). hope it is useful for all of you

無錯, 官津校派位係計分&抽獎, 所以讀邊間kinder(or even唔讀!)都係關係, 所以要睇幼稚園考小學"實力", 就要focus on直資/私小, 你睇spc, 去高主教(私立, 22.9%)同st paul's college(直資, 8.3%), 男仔黎講, 算係十分理想
而且加埋你所講, 校園warm, staff有愛心, 重視家校合作等等, 都係好重要既attributes, 所以我真係好希望仔仔入到呢間學校呀!

男男既女女真係醒! Let's clap for your girl! Clap clap clap..... 我都覺得小朋友一定要smart and curious and happy....not only have good academic performance, right? 我想男男都係個好媽媽, 因為我覺得一個smart and happy既小朋友, 通常都有個healthy/happy既family...(even 係單親家庭, 如果個媽媽/爸爸好愛個小朋友, 都可以好好ga..)

我有一個難題, 想請教各位ga...我仔仔英文好過廣東話(兩樣都聽得明, 不過絕大部分時間都講英文) 妳地話以下邊個選擇/做法好d呢?
1. 讀international school / Victoria Kindergarten
2. 讀local Chinese kindergarten but join some English activities (e.g. the Saturday English Club by the Woodland pre-school, ard 90% students are foreigners..)

I would prefer the second one since it is easier to find good English course than Chinese course.  Chinese is also very difficult to learn (unlike English phonics) and parents need to read many many stories to kids before they can read by themselves.  All of my P.1 daughter's classmates are reading English chapter books but their mamas (including me) still need to read Chinese books (and internet chinese homework) for them.  

Just my personal opinion.

I hear from someone that most of the parent of St Paul Co-ed’s student are business man, professional and powerful background etc.  Otherwise, your kid is difficult to get into that school.

Is that true?

Actually we don't know the background between parents.  But most of the parents looked highly- educated.  Even though some parents are obviously rich and renowed, they are still very nice and their kids are very 平民化。 There is no 等級within the school.   As I estimated, around 30-40% is the type you say, and the other is middle-class, like civil servants.

SKH Kindergarten 好似ng使著校服ga wor... do you think it's good or bad? Will this create a little social level among the kids? For me, I prefer uniform rather than our own clothes... what do all of you think?

男男, your daughter is now having her studies in St Paul Co-ed. Do you think it is really a very good school?

我仔仔現在都是在Victoria 讀pre-nursery, 但我仔仔話唔鐘係 Victoria讀, 我問佢咁轉去第二間kinder好唔好呀? 佢竟然話好! 都唔知佢係唔係真係讀得唔開心?! 不過如果考唔到其他kinder就要在Victoria繼續讀lu!

I am very happy that my daughter has already accecpted by SKH in K2 and she will study next week.  I remembered that my daughter was interviewed by the principal. I also felt that she likes my daughter.
