我囡囡都係IPc班, 但佢會9月先返(現在有可能改10月)因為可能未可以搬到北角 但我知8月8日和9日有試返, 只是1個鐘,但對於小朋友你覺得有用嗎?

No la!最初我老公話想搬屋, 現在我地住將軍澳, 佢話想搬到坑口, 我話如果甘不如唔好搬 ~ 之後佢就留意東區樓盤, 因為近我媽媽和我老公返工, 甘Q北角有盤, 樓價和大細都適合, 不是因為要讀明慧 :wink:  :wink: 而坦白講我覺得香港區學校會好過將軍澳, 就算跨區路程都無甘遠
試返我一定會返, 但對小朋友有沒有幫助這個問題我老公都有問過我, 我都答佢一定要比個囡返

我昨天去啦書展﹐ 你呢﹐ 但我看不到anything about Jolly Phonic, but 看到﹐ Disney booth, English Time booth, Montessori booth, GC and some miscellanoues booth selling phonic, but don't know what they are, acutally, I would like to go again, but not sure I have time or not.

我只是買了兩本有CD的Disney Stories book, 一本有4 stories, Cinderella, Beaty and the beast and 2 more I don't remember, another book is Nemo, Monster Inc, Toy......  only for listening. 其它我只看到﹐ Disney booth, English Time booth, Noddy English booth, Monterssori booth, 每一套都要over $1x,xxx.   , Also some phonics, I don't know la, I don't see Jolly phonics, my colleague recommend me to start with Oxford story book series to teach my baby.  But I don't see any Oxford booth at 書展 其它就是很都Computer 教學﹐ 還有 GC Phonics Kingdom la.  Whatelse do you see?  I suppose want to go once again, but I might have no time and I don't know what else I missed.....  Did you go on your own or with your girl?  I go with a girl friend who has no child.  She doesn't interest at all.... I mainly go to Hall 5.  How about you?

我星期六去啦Causeway Bay Wisekid 買啦 Jolly Songs & “雌” wall 那些 Character Poster.  有10%off, 但都比 HK Book Centre 貴﹐ 我看過DVD﹐ 它同Letterland的分別是
Letterland是cartoon﹐ Jolly 像電視教育﹐ 有4個main characters: mouse, bee & snake, and a computer to tell the sounds.  我覺得用Jolly la, how about you?

Hi all,
Just want to share something of I saw at MingWai...  

I passed by MingWai yesterday and saw their banner stuck on the window next to the entrance.  It said "Congratulation for...".  I was so surprised that a so-called "international" kindergarten will have such a grammar issue.

Now I am worried, since I'm planning to let my son to go there next year.  Do any parent have any sharing on how 'international' are the classes there?

By the way, what is the correct grammar if we want to express such situation in the banner "Congrulation for ..."?

Hi AugSun,
I am also depressed too since I was thinking of taking my son there next year.  Now I need to look around more and think again.

For the correct grammar... despite of whatever they're trying to express... "Congratulation" should always have a 's' at the end, just like saying "Thanks for...".  You won't see anyone using "Thank for...".

Also, by a glance of its meaning, I think they're trying to say "Congratulations to...", not "Congratulations for...".

I was just thinking at least they shouldn't make such simple mistakes!!

Yes, you're right.  If I couldn't search any better, and most importantly, any one that is as close as MingWai, I'll still let my boy go for N1 first.
