其實我一早已經好想上嚟，你地呢個新Topic。 但見你地傾到咁開心，又驚阻住你地，所以諗住遲D先上嚟啫。
因為優才真係一間好學校，我只係將自己所知同所見既同大家分享。
今日都係新生日，你可能會見到今年9月入讀小一既家長，同時你可以捉住佢地傾下計。
9月入學後，我會將你地個list update埋我地個Topic度，到時記得入嚟傾下計。

Hi 各位準小一家長，

今日下午4時左右，我一家三ロ一起到TKO校舍辦理留位手續，因小兒未曾到過GT TKO 校舍，所以忙於帶他四圍參觀，手續完事後，小兒還要在操場上踢足球，未有時間跟其他準小一家長打招呼，希望將來有機會相聚。

我今日下午大概4:45pm到達TKO校舍注冊留位，見到有頗多小朋友在球場打波，不知afsl 你是否還在呢?

我辦手續時還認識了一位準小一家長 。我到達登記時看到登記名單上我是第23位到達的，後來有一位家長到達，辦完手續離開時唔覺有家長在等注冊，所以當時(大概5:00pm)總共應有24位家長已完成注冊。希望遲o的見到各位家長啦!

I arrived MK at 5:00pm.
I have asked the staff regarding shool bus issue from TKO and MK.  And she replied there is school bus running between TKO and MK.  

BTW, seems there are more than 30 files on the desk.  If it is the case, I think the no. of admitted students in first round should be more than 48 for both MK and TKO.  So, its means there is less than 48 available space for second round.

我是和一位帶眼鏡的準小一家長傾偈，但是在入口大堂而不是在球場啊，所以那一位家長不是我 。不過唔緊要啦，將來還有很多機會見面的 。

Hi Appletony,

My home PC has been down so I could not go to BK until back to office.

As my son played football at the playground, he soon got wet.  We also need to go out to find some drinks for this little monkey!  Therefore, we did not know when we left the school.  If you saw a boy wearing a blue "Buzz Light Year" T-shirt, his mum wearing a blue polo T-shirt with long hair and his dad were rushing out the TKO Campus, they should be us!!!!

Next time, may be we could have recognized each other before we went into the school event.

From the discussion topic on "將軍澳一小學" issue, I am really so glad that my son is being accepted by G.T., which gives me a chance to know how supportive and cooperative our G.T. parents are. Let's keep sharing our experiences.

Snowball, sorry I didn't reply you on time. My wife did bring my son for registration on Sat. If I saw your message earlier, my wife would have a chance to chat with you. Never mind, we still have a lot of chances.

記憶中我見到2個家庭由球場出來，其中一個家庭的爸爸是穿灰色T-shirt 而且濕了的，但我不太記得小朋友和媽媽的衣著了。這家庭是你們嗎?

我當日穿淺黃色polo shirt和藍色牛仔褲，只得我一個人(我太太陪囡囡去興趣班)。有見到我嗎?

Hi! 各位好! 我上星期六差不多7點才到達MK註冊, 差點趕唔切! 因為由地鐵站迫到過去實在太多人, 行得太慢了, 個仔已成身汗....辛苦! 咁遲, 所以一個家長也踫不到!

你們的小朋友知道考入優才有甚麼反應? 我個仔都幾好笑, 佢話: "梗係啦, 老師叫我估果D數字我全部都估中晒ga!"

我問佢老師叫佢估甚麼數字, 佢話:"嗱! 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 中間果個係咩? 梗係 26 啦! hahahaha...."

有冇咁淺, 我就唔係好信! 佢呢排成日作故仔, 有D擔心...你們的小朋友是不是這樣的?

對不起離了題, 一笑罷啦!

各位準優才家長你地好！
最近優才傳出一D負面消息，可能大家對入優才既決定，仍然心大心細，亦需要時間考慮。
所以避免大家監介，我暫時唔會將你地個list, update響我地個優才Topic度。等第二輪收生結果出埋時，而情況比較穩定，我至將大家個名加埋響我地個優才家長list度，你地認為如何？
雖然係咁，我地仍然好歡迎你地，入嚟同我地班優才家長傾計，大家交換意見。
最後，我想同大家講，直至現在，優才響我心目中仍然係一間好學校！

I'm no comment about this arrangement.  The bad comment has not influenced me too much about my decision.  It just let me a little bit upset as GT has not too such this message before.

Anyway, thanks for dabbycheung's effort in all aspects.

Glad to see so many helpful GT's parents here.

Really appreciate for your concern. Regarding the so-called “負面消息”, I think it is only a single case and in fact, different people will have their own interpretation. Of course I know G.T. parents trust the school, principal, teachers and don’t want any rumours/comments that would affect the reputation of the school. However, I suppose all parents here are mature enough to make judgement by themselves. I will treat this kind of message a story which give me a chance to think from different perspectives. Seeing is believing and we should also treasure our personal experience. Believe in your own judgement!  

I personally don’t think we need to take any action in responding to that message. If you skip the list right now, other people who are following this “story” will only make another guess again. In this kind of open discussion forum, you can never stop them and it is inevitable. Just leave them and people will forget very soon.

Dear GT Parents,

My daughter will be in TKO GT next year and she is now studying in a ordinary nursery school and English standard is not very high.  May I ask other parents, do U think some extra english course is necessary, e.g. phonics, oral, reading, etc.  I trust English in GT will be quite good.  Do U think I can wait until GT to raise her or some preparatory lessons during this year so that she can catch up easier in G1 ?

我個仔英文都係一般般, 都係讀普通幼稚園. 我就志意曬學校咖啦, 無唸過要額外搵人補, 除非入左學後發覺佢跟唔上啦.
