Hanon and czerny are also very boring but very important I think.

我小朋友在上年考完二級後便開始彈czerny599和Hanon,  而Hanon差不多每首歌都要彈成兩星期,  連我都覺得好悶呢.   你們覺唔覺得有時children pieces的二級歌都不容易呢.

之前無彈599,而我囡囡生得比較纖考,849對體型較小既小朋友是有點吃力, 速度與力度要求都不是一般7,8歲小朋友做得到(我覺得, 如果有錯誤請抖正).
children pieces 既曲目級數普遍是高於同等考級能力的,如果小朋友只達考二級能力, 大部份既cp 2 級歌都很難彈到

my gal is taking children pieces, scale, hanon/czerny,  keyboard (from ABRSM, has many different famous pieces) and also john thompas
she's grade 2 exam  ,maybe later grade 3 or 4 exam in next year ...depends on her improvement

我的小朋友在琴行學了一年鋼琴, 現在我想替他轉私人教授. 請問找私人老師時應留意些什麼呢?

我自己對鋼琴全無認識,應憑什麼決定那位老師適合呢?

is there any speical reason u wanna change a private teacher ? is that becoz the one in music company is not good enough ?
btw, to find a good private teacher, i will pay attention to her qulification like she must be grade 8 or above, how many years she has taught piano, how's the result of her students and will the teacher encourage students to join competitions  ....
futhermore, my gal's private piano teacher like to hold a student concert once a year, i consider it as a factor as well as i like my gal have more chance to performance...

The progress of my boy is very slow. My friend told me that her son also learned piano there and found that the teacher was quite 馬虎. And she changed her son now to TomXX.

My boy told me that sometimes his teacher would asked him to learn one more song. Yet my son would refused just because he was lazy.     So I think private lesson would be better.

I think your daughter's teacher is great. Hope I can also find a good one for my kid.

Any piano teacher or mum knows if one can play up to Children Pieces P.50 "At Home"/P.51 "Gertrude's Dream Waltz", what grade level has he/she reached?  Which grade level exam should he/she take next?
