But i am very interested on how parents choose facing the language section option

I have heard of the teachers are nice and experienced. But what about the academic standard? and Chinese language standard in the primary section?

My son is now studying in K3 of CAIS.  Is there any good chinese class (both reading and writing skill) that you could recommend?

Hi everybody,

My son has been studying in CAIS since K3, he is now studying in Grade 5.

I would be pleased if I can help any parents who has question about the school, I will try my best to give you as much information as I can.

Regarding the news ~ I really have no comments since this is the complaint from one parent only, maybe the kids at the same class of her son knows better.

Regarding the school band, students at Grade 5 are compulsory to join, they can either rent from school or buy their own instrument.  

No extra cost for the band lessons.

Could all of them continue to study in G1 after completion of K3?  Is there any exceptional case?

Usually K3 students have priority to register for Grade 1 by February.

I know some students are requested to repeat due to poor academic result but that applies to all level of students, not only K3.

Do you mind telling me what text books that they use for English, Math, Social Science, etc. for Grade 5? I want to do a comparison with my son's school. My son is also studying in a Canadian school.

All textbooks are kept in school, we only have science book on hand since they have test next week.

Honestly speaking, we cannot compare book to book.

CAIS is registered with Saskatchewan curriculum, but they are planning to change to Alberta curriculum in the near future.
