咁自願轉校係幾時都無保證架, 都講到明"自願" .... 相信其他學校都講唔清呢方面...

有版友講到喇記計埋自 ...

有時好難講對被拒諸門外嘅學生絕唔絶情，如果為咗情義而夾硬收成績跟唔上嘅同學上直屬中學，咁又可能害咗佢地。可能轉到其他更適合佢地嘅學校可以得到重生呢。

yes...識人一直讀得唔開心，無自信，學校講明無得過馬路

e+响間band 2中學讀 ，自信心高咗，個別科目考級一！

Not sure if you are talking about SJC.
When SJPS was in half day mode a few years ago, there were more than 250 P6 graduates from the primary which were much more than the 180 S1 places at SJC. Even SJC reserved most of its Discretionary Stage places for its primary school students, there were still many Band 2 SJPS student could not promoted to SJC.

After SJPS changed to full day mode, there are just 150 P6 graduates. Therefore, the 99 reserved places at Central Allocation + 10 to 20 places at Discretionary Stage and "Knocking Door" are sufficient for all Band 1 students and majority of Band 2 students of SJPS promoting to SJC.

SJC has never been harsh to its feeder primary school students.

In order to mitigate the impact of increase in Band 2 students from SJPS, SJC has put more emphasis on academic performance than extra-curricular activities when they select the non SJPS students at Discretionary Stage. Besides, SJC can accept more external students, mostly Band 1A and 1B, due to the significant reduction in class size of SJPS. After changing to full day mode, SJPS has also accepted more transfer students than before to improve the quality of its graduates.
After all, the quality of S1 intake is just one of the factors affecting SJC DSE results. If both the teachers and students can work harder, SJC should able to maintain its good DSE results in the future.

認人轉制前後都有，亦咁唔好彩返唔到去。

其實有樣野有無改制都無變，無論頭髮班白既老校友，成績優異但已轉國際校既年輕人，或者幾位昇唔到中既，佢哋家長異口同聲係學校從來都鼓勵競爭，物都要爭下。

呢d應該係知恥近乎勇，之後發奮做人的結果，唔係做番原來的佢，就可以係其他學校取得級一班一的成績。

我都識人喇小畢業，成績麻麻，之後去咗可立讀中學，宜家喺北區醫院做緊Surgeon. 最好笑連佢老婆都唔知佢喇小畢業，所以當年自行階段時候冇報喇小，後來考到其他直資。上年佢同老婆講起自己喇小畢業，激到老婆扎扎跳。

可能無喇小去可立一役，佢未必會入到醫科 。佢可能心裏對學校仲有芥蒂，但其實真係要多謝學校給他一個及時驚醒的機會。

但唔係我講既例子。

果位考級一既同學，中二去另一間B1 男校，結果變番考百幾。

所以講幾間男校差距大。

咁反覆？會唔會係父母發唔發功的結果？父母跟功課跟得好，出埋針對性的題目溫習，小朋友係可以好勁咁，尤其係小學和初中。但一放手，好容易又變番尋常人家。

所以老套尐講最重要揾到適合自己嘅學校。佢話佢自己能力發展比較慢，讀到中學先至揾到對讀書嘅自信心，而且當時可立上上下下都當佢係寶，如果留喺喇沙因為叻學生太多，未必有咁好嘅對待，所以愈戰愈勇考入港大醫學院。但佢老婆當然唔係咁諗......

一個有自信嘅環境成長，有利學習

由水平較高學校墊底，去到普通學校跑最前，例子好多，只係好多父母唔捨得放棄，害咗個仔女都唔知
